[Fuu turns on the CAT to send a message to all the 'new residents'.]

[She is seated in the solarium of her apartment, dressed in her school uniform for a change. Before her on the table are four books, neatly stacked.]

Hello, everyone. I hope you're doing alright?

I was just wondering. Does anyone keep a personal journal? I usually don't, but for some reason I recently felt inspired to do so.

If you aren't in the habit, I encourage you to give it a try! It helps you remember where you've been, and who you've been at every stage of your life. [grins and laughs a little] And I'm hoping that having everything I've experienced about Luministi down in one place will help me make sense of it all!

[Her smile might have seemed a little strained at that, but she continues.]

There is a lovely assortment of stationary at the shop. So, if you decide to start, let me know how it goes, okay? Or maybe people who are more used to journaling can give some tips?

Ah, in any case, take care out there... [She gives a little bow before turning off the feed.]

[Fuu's CAT turns on spontaneously late at night.]

[Still tired from the poison ordeal, she is tossing and turning in her bed, sleeping lightly yet dreaming. The incessant ringing of the phone she's been hearing doesn't help her rest any.]

[One may hear some whispered murmurs from her:]

Big sis... Thank-

mmm not alone. mmm okay, 'kay. Don't worry.

Just... answer the 'hone.

[After viewing the whole message from the doctor, Fuu staggers against the wall of her bedroom. She'd not felt very hungry today, but was this why?]

['Foreign element' indeed. A few breaths later he'd said poison. Who would do this? ...No, the more important thing right now was to find the antidote. They'd already delayed telling them this for four days (unforgivable!), and doubtless it wouldn't be long until she started feeling the full effects.]

[For a fleeting moment Fuu wishes that her healing wind magic could cure illness, yet this is not the time for wishes. Taking a few deep breaths to steady herself, Fuu takes out her CAT.]

Everyone, I think we'd best pool our ideas quickly, as it seems like the good doctor Resarci and his crew are not too close to the solution themselves. The wisdom of the masses might just solve this!

I would like to submit that something has seemed strange with the Neptune sundial near the library, and therefore might be the 'guardian of time' that needs to be visited.

I'm not sure about the 'eye of the beast'... I first thought of the Kirin statue, but I'm not sure how you'd get it over to the sundial...

I- I'm sure that if we all pull together on this we can figure it out. But... if the poison overtakes us, I hope that the ones who didn't go to the party would be kind enough to continue the search.

[Fuu is walking to the park for archery practice (thusly attired and armed) when the message arrives. And she's rather delighted by it.]

Aliens! How amazing!

[Having made it only as far as the south-west corner of the library, she looks over to find that the Poseidon statue is gone.]

... Something is seriously up with that statue. First it was moving around in the weird-weather lighting, and now this.

[Suddenly she thinks of Raivis. Concerned that Miss Verita's message might have frightened the boy, she activates her CAT. After a moment of consideration, she decides to make the transmission open to all.]

Well, I'm not so sure about the sky falling [Fuu pauses and tilts the CAT up, showing a perfectly fine sky], but something strange is happening again.
Raivis, are you okay? Stay inside, alright? I'm going to have a look around-- oh! [As she had glanced up to suit actions to words, she notices the large Kirin-like statue from the greenhouse. Now across the street from her by the theatre.]

How did you get there...?

[A video call on the CAT, filtered to Miss Osculia. June 25, 1pm]

Good afternoon, Miss Osculia. [Gives a bit of bow.] If I may, I was hoping to make an appointment to meet with you briefly this afternoon, if you have time.

[A video message on the CAT, filtered to the Tenth Doctor. June 25, 9am]

[Fuu is obviously trying to not look too excited, but the eyes give her away.]
Doctor, something very interesting has come to my attention, and I'd like to meet with you in person, if I may.

[Her eyes get more serious when she mentions meeting 'in person'...]

[With thinly veiled amusement Fuu scrolls through the CAT's phone list until she finds the contact for Miss Osculia at the Mayor's Office. The CAT is just so wonderfully convenient! Minus the bizarre trouble with the weather forecast, it is quite the useful tool. It even lists all the people who have been summoned here. (Sadly, Hikaru and Umi are not listed.)]

[Taking a breath to settle herself she has the CAT call Miss Osculia. It being late afternoon, she hopes that she's not catching her at a busy time...]

[Immediately after this conversation with Miss Verita.]

[Leaving the town square Fuu starts walking her bike the short distance to the Sheriff's Office.]

[Figuring out the clue had been easy, but it seemed that figuring out the mystery of why she was here - and where 'here' was anyway - would be much harder.]

[She reads the slip of paper with the riddle again:]

If anywhere around here there's ever any trouble
You can bet I'll be there on the double
And here you can talk to me--ease the troubles on your mind
Just don't take any notice of the jeering from behind

[...She cannot understand how Miss Verita could read it as it is written in Japanese, or -- how Fuu herself could understand it if it's written in another language. Miss Verita had said that there was no Japanese. However, she might have misunderstood Fuu's question.]

[With a sigh she propps her bike against the horse hitching post outside the office. Perhaps the matter of language was not as important as other things right now, but it certainly was strange.]

[And speaking of strange, it was one thing to look at the places in town on the CAT, and quite another to see them in person. 'Eclectic' was an understatement for the design of this town. From here she could see the very cowboy-western Sherriff's Office, the traditional-looking town hall all in red brick, the edge of the shopping district with it's odd assortment of shops, and the amazingly sleek-looking library. She couldn't wait to go there, but other things came first.]

[Walking up the steps she pushes open the door and calls out softly,]

Pardon me?
