[To say that seeing snow staring to fall inside her house was a shock would be an understatement. Even the experience of all the strange things that happen in Luministi couldn't change her instinctive thrill to see snow (so uncommon in Tokyo), and her subsequent startlement at it being inside.

Grabbing her purse and coat she runs to the door and throws it open wide to see what is happening outside. The puffy snow is falling from the sky as well (at least that is normal), and the accumulation is already thick. This is when she notices the footprints that lead away from her door. That is... strange. Coupled with the message on the Guide, it's downright suspicious.

Curious she follows the footprints all the way to the Mayor's house and through to the observation deck. She wonders just how many people came this way because it seems like there are way more footprints than people who have come here...

She frowns at all the displays of the question 'What have you done?' It seems so accusatory that nothing good springs to mind. Besides, the Guide said that they would be told something! This is just another question.

With a faint frown as she considers this new situation she stands closer to the strange fire to ward off the cold.]

Arrival, and then )
[Smoothing her expression into a small smile and setting herself down on a bench near the Neptune sundial so it will show in the background, Fuu makes a broadcast on the CAT.]

Good evening, everyone. Again, I regret that we are meeting under such circumstances.
My name is Fuu Hououji, age 17, first year of High School in Tokyo, blood type A. I have been in this town twice before, and if I may say so, I believe that we are in more danger than ever before. I hope that we can all work together again to get home once and for all.

I will be here by this sundial for a while, if anyone would like to meet in person.
[identity profile] wind-of-reason.livejournal.com
[The video starts up with Fuu sitting on a shady bench in the park. She twirls a mechanical pencil idly in one hand and looks up at the sky with a slightly bored look on her face. She then looks down into the CAT.]

Please pardon me, but I've become a bit nostalgic and thought I might ask a question.

Does anyone else rather miss television? I suppose some of you don't have it... If you are curious perhaps you could come visit with me and I will tell you about it. And if you did have it, would you like to come and chat with me about it? I'd love to hear about programs on other planets!

[Fuu being Fuu, this is just her way of saying she wants to talk some ideas out with people~ (for all that she honestly is curious about television on alien worlds!) But the certainty that they are being observed makes her wary. >.>]

[Sophie and Fuu are at the gazebo, which they rushed to immediately after their conversation with Audrey. they are standing close together, allowing them both to be visible on the CAT, and their expressions are terribly urgent]

Everyone, we've found something terribly important. As I'm sure many of you have realised by now, a friend of ours has been responsible for a lot of things lately, and... [hesitates] Fuu, are you certain this message is only going to the other new residents?

Yes. Well, as certain as I can be, using something that was given to us.

[doesn't look entirely convinced] Well, I suppose it will have to do... [she turns her attention back to the residents as a group] Audrey told us that she's temporarily stopped the town's ability to prevent damage. For the next hour, we'll be able to damage it, and there's something very important we need to do. It seems there are two items in town that are...erm...able to prevent us from going to the Mayor's House. [she knows Audrey gave a better description than that, but anything having to do with science is rather beyond her] And I'm certain you all know by now what we can find there.

It's not going to be easy, though. We were warned that the townspeople will be turned against us. To help us get to where we need to go, we have pins- [She holds up the box] but they won't last long.

Yes, according to Audrey, they'll prevent the townspeople from seeing us so that we have enough time to destroy items in town. There's one for each person. If you meet us at the gazebo, we can give you a pin. And please share anything else you've found out as well. [she swallows. after what Audrey said, she has a feeling those won't all be pleasant stories, but she knows they could be important] We'll see you soon. [she shuts off the CAT]

[OOC: Joint post! Sophie is orange and Fuu is green. We'll be responding to comment threads separately to allow more discussion. Please feel free to use this post for IC discussion of town destruction. Even threadhop if you like! Treat it like it's a mingling post. Also, comment with places you've tried--and the consequences.]

Good ...evening. Although it was light just a little while ago. Luministi sure knows how to set a mood!

I've just received an invitation to the festival that I cannot refuse. [She holds up a mask in front of her face for a moment.] Would anyone like to accompany me? Although, it wouldn't surprise me if you've all received an invitation too, in which case I'll see you there! ...Or not, with these masks. Mmm. Well, I'll be wearing this [she holds up the mask again] and a pink kimono. Please wave if you see me!

[Despite her cheerful banter she's quite serious about meeting others because this event has all the potential to be a trap. And danger is best faced as a team.]

[[ooc: I'm hoping one or two others might like to come with Fuu to the arches, but lots of mingling potential before she gets that far!
EDIT: Sophie and Fuu will be taking the right arch (#3) when they get that far ^.^]]

[The scream that comes directly after the CAT's strange message makes Fuu's head snap up from where she'd been resting it on her hand, staring vacantly across the street. Eyes wide, she at once focuses her gaze towards what had been the object of her fixation for the past two weeks- and sees a woman's body collapsing outside the White Rabbit, part way into the street like she'd been about to cross-.]

Ahhh--!

[A thin scream of her own erupting from her, she runs over to the person-- no, not just any person. That hair...
With shaking hands she tentatively kneels beside her and reaches over to touch her shoulder, brush away the hair, glimpse at her face--]

No- no, no. Oh, Miss Ardes-

[Unsteadily she tries to find a pulse, but it's impossible with her hands shaking like this, and she knows she shouldn't move an injured person... So she takes out her CAT and broadcasts in the hologram mode to all the residents.]

I- I need help! A d-doctor, anyone- please! Please. Out s-side the White Rabbit, Miss Ardes- she- she's just collapsed- she's not moving-
[identity profile] wind-of-reason.livejournal.com
[After just over a week - has it really been that long? - of feeling like this, Fuu is fully exhausted. Yet she couldn't help but go out every day to sit and stare at the theatre, the pub, and the space between them.

Today she spontaneously decided to make a delivery - Mister Braxiatel will find a neatly wrapped package on his doorstep, containing a small variety of pastries from the tea house and a box of English breakfast tea.
Well, perhaps it was not too spontaneous. She'd been thinking about the past a lot, and he was a large part of the particular incident she was mulling over.]

[Biking away from West Luministi Greens on her way to sit across from the theatre and pub again, she suddenly starts peddling at a break-neck speed towards that place-- and stares at it for a long moment.

Trembling, she slumps to the ground and curls up into a ball, face buried in her knees and hands pressed to her ears.]

[[ooc: She'll stay like that for about 15 minutes before pulling herself together enough to get home. (Unless of course someone comes across her like this, or she nearly ran you over with her bike and you've come after her!)]]
[identity profile] wind-of-reason.livejournal.com
Arrival, and then... )

[Turning her CAT to broadcast to all the 'new' residents (she supposed the term is still valid even if some had been here once already), she puts on a bright smile and bows.]

Hello, everyone! I regret that we are meeting under such circumstances, but it is so good to see you! My name is Fuu Hououji. Age fifteen, third year of junior high school in Tokyo, blood type A.

I believe that being well informed is important, and I have some very relevant information to share with you that might well influence us all greatly.
For some of us, this is our second time seeing this place. I believe that those who are here for the first time might like to hear about what happened to those of us who were here already. There is a lot to explain, and it's for the best if we are all as well-informed as possible. [A shadow of a frown passes over her face.] This place will have enough secrets.
[And her face brightens again]

I'd be happy to meet anyone who is interested at the gazebo in the town park at 7 tonight. I look forward to reconnecting with old friends, and meeting new.

[[ooc: yep, I'm afraid that this is what Fuu decided to do! She's keen to spill all the beans on what went down last time (for all the good it might do them for this second round XD).

So if you like, tag in here with either [action] to meet Fuu, or continue on in [video]. She will share as much as you can handle about what happened last time in this lovely little town. She kept a journal, so will be able to share in great detail...

To save my sanity, may I direct your attention to the lovely and amazing Plot Summary? Feel free to also peruse Fuu's Chronicle, but keep in mind she won't share anything she deems 'personal'.

If any second-time people want to team up with Fuu in the story-telling, please do jack in!]]
[identity profile] wind-of-reason.livejournal.com
[Fuu sits contemplatively in front of the windows, staring out into the stars. Above the pages of her Luministi journal she holds a pen loosely in her hand, her mind wandering from her writing.]

[Everything that had happened was so unbelievable. The end had been so sudden and shocking. And now... now she gets to go home. The thing that she wanted the most also fills her with the most dread - how can she possibly explain her absence for over three months?]

[But before she gets to worry too much over that, she should make sure that she says proper farewells to everyone she met here. Because they have shared a very unique experience together. Something they will be unable to share with anyone else.]

[ooc: Much the same as Xion's post, Fuu will be in search of everyone in order to say goodbye! Or, of course, you might find her first XD]

[Very backdated, to September 3. Sorry!]
[Private message to Mister Hawk]

Good afternoon!
It is another lovely day out, and I was wondering if you would have time to take a short walk with me?
[identity profile] wind-of-reason.livejournal.com
[Video message to everyone]

Thank you for that message, Mister Braxiatel!

I'm completely in agreement with his suggestion, so, would anyone like to team up with me? I think I know the answer to Miss Osculia's question.
[identity profile] wind-of-reason.livejournal.com
[Private text message to Xion:]

Hello!
It's been a while since I've seen you - how are you holding up with the quizzes?

I've been taking a lot of walks recently. It's a good alternative to staying inside my home. Would you like to meet sometime and take a walk together?

[ooc: Hiatus? What hiatus? XD I'll be tagging until the moment I leave...]
[identity profile] wind-of-reason.livejournal.com
[It's been about a week and a half. That should be good - long enough since their last conversation. ...Why did Mister Braxiatel ask her to do this though? She's not confident she will be able to catch Ms Ardes in being deceitful. However, to press every advantage she is sending a video message, despite her self-consciousness at the fact that her glasses are now painted on her face somehow. (She's hoping it's not too obvious, and she's kept the lighting dim in her living room. Still freaks her out every time she looks in a mirror though.)]

---
[Private message to Ms Audrey Ardes.]

Ms Ardes, I hope that you are doing well and have avoided the quiz games.

If I may, I have a couple of things I wanted to talk to you about. Certainly more light-hearted than last time, however!
Sheriff Iussus once mentioned that you might be able to bring in a Karaoke machine to your establishment. Do you suppose that might be possible? It would be great fun.

Also, seeing as you were the hostess for the re-opening of the Botanical Gardens, I was wondering if you might tell me more about the gardens.
[identity profile] wind-of-reason.livejournal.com
[Private text message to Mister Braxiatel.]

Mister Braxiatel, when you were going through the law books I brought to you a few weeks ago, did you happen across anything about capital punishment?
(And although we were under the amnesia at the time, I hope that you were able to return or renew the books before they became due.)

[ooc: relevant link]

---
[Private message to Sheriff Iussus.]

Sheriff, if I may have a moment. I was wondering if you have had opportunity to begin investigating the unusual happenings that the new residents have experienced, which I mentioned to you in our interview at the end of last month.
You did say that once the murderer was found that you'd investigate the matter more thoroughly.
Also, I'd like to know if you've experienced a sudden increase in missing persons reports since the weekend. The town seems a little... less busy than usual.

---
[Private message to Ms Audrey Ardes.]

[bows] Ms Ardes, we only met briefly once before during the opening of the greenhouse, but may I offer you my condolences over the events of the past month.
If you feel agreeable to it, I would like to hear more about the life of Mister Ardes, as well as Mister Bruno and Sheriff Teger, if you knew them well.
[identity profile] wind-of-reason.livejournal.com
[When the CAT turns on, Fuu doesn't even notice because she's playing a crane game with an intense look of concentration upon her face. Nearly buried amid the adorable stuffed figures that fill the machine is a brown schoolbag, which Fuu is clearly aiming for.]

[The claw snags one of the handles of the bag, the crane moves up, and Fuu gives a small cry of happiness as her bag is deposited in the chute.]

At last. Thought I'd never get it. --Oh, and another one of these?

[Taking up her bag and the two coins she looks left and right. She then moves over to another game, this one with a pincushion nestled among the toys. Fuu tilts her head thoughtfully.]

It was Miss Sophie who lost the pincushion, right...

[Figuring that she wouldn't know how to play the game to get her item back, Fuu tries to start the game with her CAT so that she can retrieve the pincushion for her. But it won't work.]

What--?

[Moving down the line she tries a couple other machines. None work.]

Oh, I see. That's just mean.

Well, everyone, it seems that my CAT is on, so you just saw it. Apparently we must each come enjoy this arcade that the Mayor told us about.

---
[Later, a message private to Verita, in text]
Miss Verita, something happened, didn't it? Please message back when you can, and... hang in there.
[identity profile] wind-of-reason.livejournal.com
[To all new residents AND Miss Verita]

Everyone, I could use a second, or third or fourth, mind on something.

I tried to follow up with the Mayor to see about getting an appointment - it's one of the last things I did before the gas. I got a message back from Miss Osculia, saying "due to an unexpected situation in town, the mayor is again tied up with ensuring the safety of the town and unable to make any further appointments this week".

Now, I hope I'm not over thinking it, but is that not strange? The regular residents don't seem concerned about the 'fog' at all, and the 'murder' is behind bars. I can't imagine that the loss of doctor Resarci rates so seriously.

Miss Verita, or anyone else, do you happen to have any idea of what this new 'unexpected situation' threatening the town might be?
Seeing as we're all currently residents here, whatever it is concerns us too.
[identity profile] wind-of-reason.livejournal.com
[Message to Mister Braxiatel.]

[Fuu looks exhausted and not-so-triumphant. She's walking up the road towards Luministi Gardens East, and dawn is breaking.]

Mister Braxiatel. I'm very sorry. I tried all night to blow the gas away. Maybe if I had Windam... But I don't, and even though I managed the magic, I couldn't do anything. There's just too much of it.

When I was working through the Town Square, I saw that the gas seems to be pouring out of the fountain there. It's very thick and fast, and all my work was undone quickly.
I tried clearing a small area and protecting it, but I can't maintain the magic indefinitely. Maybe, if I had my memories I'd be stronger... I just don't know.

[bitterly, under her breath] That 'doctor' Resarci--

[She's come to the buildings.]

I'm... very sorry. I'll be going to sleep now, but please contact me if ...I can be of any other assistance.
[identity profile] wind-of-reason.livejournal.com
[Text to Miss Verita]
Miss Verita, how are you? I truly hope you're all right.
Listen, it's a bit hard to explain, but the fog that doctor Rescaci reported has done something to the memories of all the new residents.
It looks like one of the last things I did was encourage you to continue the investigation. Have you found anything new? It might help us out.

---
Mister Arthur, I did promise that I would let you know how I got on with the journals. As you might have seen in response to Mister Braxiatel's message, I can confirm everything he said. My journals also chronicle the same things.

Ah, there is something I must ask you though.
[She holds out a small slip of paper with a riddle printed on it and smiles kindly.]
Could you tell me what language is this in?
[identity profile] wind-of-reason.livejournal.com
Wow! This is simply fantastic!

[Fuu is in the solarium of her apartment, looking relatively cheerful while fiddling with the CAT.]

I should be broadcasting now, if I understand this correctly? It's far beyond what I've worked with before.

To anyone who can hear this, it's a pleasure to meet you. [bows] My name is Fuu Hououji. I am fourteen years old, and in grade eight. My blood type is A, and I'm a Sagittarius.

If the police can hear this, I need to file two reports. One, missing item. I'm afraid that I can't find my school bag, and I have some very important homework that needs to get done before we go to Tokyo Tower tomorrow.
Two, missing person. Which would be me. I have no idea where I am, where this is... except that the number on the door says 'A3'. I'm hesitant to go out, but once I'm done searching ...my? apartment I just might. But I think you'll be able to contact me using this CAT thing.
[identity profile] wind-of-reason.livejournal.com
[A CAT text, filtered to all 'new residents'. This way, she can be a bit more concise.]

Everyone, I have some very interesting information to share with you.

Upon the Sheriff's recommendation, I messaged the Mayor directly to ask about this 'new resident program' of his. I'm pleased to say that after some time, he did reply personally.

Now, both him and the Sheriff were surprised that I'm even asking about this, because they are under the impression that we signed up to be here. Well, have a look at the video that he sent me - I've managed to attach it to this message.

Anyways, I'm pretty sure that I didn't sign up to be here. But I believe that we did all have that mysterious flash and the tall man in a black suit, with a black hat, I think? And perhaps carrying something. So, I tried to ask the Mayor if his recruiter looks like that. I also asked if I could review my application to the program.

However, my request was met with more lovely resident side-stepping. Miss Osculia replied that the applications are confidential and not available to view after they've been submitted. Now, do any of you know about privacy laws? Because I'm quite certain that there should be nothing restricting the one who filled out the form from reviewing it. If you can think of an argument so that we can see our forms, it might be worth a try.

Either way, I hope this helps. Miss Osculia's supposed to let me know when the Mayor is available to 'address my concerns'...

[Attachment: Luministi Revival Program] [ooc: for the record, you can only see video from the mayor in Fuu's attachment, not the rest of it, but it was a pain to have it in two links XD]
