[Sophie is in the Town Square again, though this time with a very large shopping bag set on the ground at her feet. while she is standing calmly enough, there are some subtle signs of the anxiety and exhaustion that she's been feeling lately. her hair isn't quite as neat as usual, and her dress looks a tad wrinkled. in fact, it's a new dress--forest green, edged in lace, but a very simple design overall. the skirt of it is very loose, clearly designed with plenty of leeway, for a reason that those looking closely at her might notice. at this point in her pregnancy, Sophie has started to show a small baby bump]

Hello again, everyone. [she clasps her hands in front of her as she talks, that calm expression becoming a bit more nervous. she glances around, as though concerned about being overheard, before she continues] Many of you asked me for charms before, and I've finished them all. If you'd like to meet me in the Town Square, I have them here.

This would also be a good opportunity to discuss other recent...events, as well. In person is best, I think. [she smiles somewhat grimly]

Mu! [she turns at the voice, smiling to see a friendly face. the town is much too empty for her at the moment] I'm fine. And you?

Alive, which I think is about as much as I can reasonably ask for at the moment.

[He spares a glance at her belly and one of his brows raises] You're beginning to show.

[Ichijou is hard at work... On his nails. He's actually dressed casually for once and his hair is pulled back in a little ponytail. He's sitting at a table in his townhome and in the middle of painting his nails a deep red color - he hardly even seems to be paying attention to anything non-fingernail related.]

You're holding a meeting, Miss Sophie? Does that mean that you've figured out what to make of this whole situation?

No, not as such. [though she looks rather sour about admitting that] But I do have some ideas. We could meet later if this isn't a good time. I have your scarf as well.

I see, I see. [Not even skipping a beat, continuing to carefully, perfectly paint each fingernail.] The only real update that I can provide on my side of things is that I still believe in that theory that I mentioned earlier.

Typically I would never go out in public looking like this, however; with most of the town still deserted I suppose I can let it slide just this one time. I'd like to see who else shows up - I know for sure that even though I openly threatened everyone, not all of us who are still here answered my attempt at giving everyone peace of mind. I suppose I'll have to try to be more intimidating next time!

Besides, it would be rude to make you hold on to a gift.

[Sophie makes a face. she's been doing much more resting lately than she'd prefer] I'm perfectly all right, but thank you. I have been resting regularly.

[and, taken utterly aback. she's still not really used to others being concerned about her well-being. a small smile touches her lips.]

I've been doing well, thank you. [still sad from hearing someone's been killed. but it's turning into determination to do something to honor that person somehow.]

[Xion's there before too long. She never uses the bicycle -- she doesn't know how to ride it -- and so always goes everywhere on foot.]

[Wash doesn't respond to the transmission and instead goes straight to the Town Square. naturally, he performs several checks with his motion tracker for any stray dots that seem out of the ordinary--but he doesn't spot any. figures. but soon enough, he arrives and gives Sophie a nod] Miss Hatter.

Are you comfortable being out in the open like this?

[she turns at the voice, nodding back] Hello, Agent Washington.

I doubt it's much different from being in our homes. They watch us in any case, and I do have people meeting me.

[looks up at the cameras pointed right at them] Fair enough. I do question if it's still wise considering your current condition, though. [observant Wash is very observant] Have you been to any of the medical staff in town to monitor the progression?

[He heads for the Town Square after seeing Sophie's message, smiling as he approaches.] It's good to see you looking like yourself! How are you feeling?

[smiles in greeting] Yes, and you as well! I'm just fine. And you?

[After seeing the message, Jamie heads out to the town square. He seems alert, but there are bags under his eyes and something vaguely tired looking in his expression - at least until he spots her, and then concern takes over.]

Sophie, you're taking an awful risk being out here by yourself.

Jamie! [she doesn't like the look of him any more than he likes the look of her] People are meeting me here, so there's no need to worry. But are you all right?

[Fuu approaches Sophie slowly, somewhat mindful of what happened last time they met like this. Parking her bike she takes from the basket a carefully folded green dress - the charmed one that Sophie had made for her. She rubs quickly at her eyes - still with faint dark circles under them - and her smile is perhaps a little less bright than usual.]

[watches her with concern] Yes, of course, Fuu. But is something the matter?

[the Doctor arrives fairly quickly, and isn't pleased to find her alone]

Sophie, is it really the time and place to--[he stops suddenly once he gets near her, a puzzled look on his face]--did you do something to your hair?

[stares at him. is he really serious?] No. I do have a new dress.
