grandbellknight[At first, Croix was nervous about going into space. That was immediately laid to rest by the time the Longsword left the loading dock and Washington and he were flying on their own. What was left was excitement - subdued a bit by the knowledge that they were on a mission to find Resarci, but definitely still present.
The Longsword did move a bit like the airships he was used to, though it was certainly much... bulkier. He'd read the manual cover to cover. He was able to follow most of it, asked the proper questions when he wasn't sure, and Washington's mini-lessons filled in a few more of the gaps. At least if something went wrong, Croix knew he could take over well enough to get them to safety, if nothing else.
It only took a few days to reach Hyne-Savage, a journey that Croix treated as an opportunity to relax just a bit before getting back to business once they landed and began their search. By then, he was definitely ready to be back on solid ground. When it was safe to stand, he did so, taking a moment to roll his shoulders and collect himself. He kept quiet, though, and thoughtful. He had no idea what to expect from this place aside from the information given to them by Nathan, and he wasn't sure just how comprehensive it was. Well... expect the worst and hope for the best, right?]
