[Xion's walking along in front of some storefronts when she just... starts talking aloud, whether or not there's someone there listening.] You know... I've been thinking. I was thinking back to what happened last time we were here, about how things will just show up and disappear, like that phone booth, and how those topiary animals attacked all the buildings but everything just went back to mysteriously normal one day... And how this town is really inside some kind of space station, but I don't think we were ever shown how to get in and out, we just found ourselves there, on the outside.
I went to talk to Aubrey today. I thought she was back to normal -- that she remembered last time -- but that's not the case at all. When I went to the bar, she didn't recognize me, and she should've. So... so.
What if... [She stops walking now.] What if we're inside a computer?
[She shakes her head. She knows she should explain. (To who?)] Where I'm from... There are worlds inside computers, just like there are worlds outside them. One of my best friends... He was almost put inside one of those worlds. I don't know how it works, but there's obviously some way to take real people and put them inside computer worlds.
What if we're inside a computer? That would explain a lot of things, I think. And... and...
( cut for melt-down )
Nothing belongs to me! Why?! It's not fair it's not fair it's not fair --
