Day 15 | ~ World's End Umbrella ~

[Like last time, Xion is searching out her friends. Anyone and everyone she talked to, all the people she met here -- She wants to meet with them, talk to them, find out if they're staying or leaving, say good-bye if it's the latter. Unlike last time, though, her spirits are higher. She can stay. She can stay and still be helpful, still search for the answers they've been looking for, stay and live, really live.

She's also searching for one person in particular. She has something to ask him -- to ask of him, to inform him of something, and she... Part of her is hopeful. Part of her is nervous. Another part of her... feels like she can't ask this of him. She shouldn't ask him to stay for her. She knows she's asking for Nathan, but that's what it feels like. She feels like she doesn't have the right to ask that of him. If he has something important to do at home, then she has no right at all. (If he has something important to do at home, and says no, then...) Xion takes a deep breath and lets it out. At the same time, she has to ask. She has to know. She has to find out for herself.

So, Luministi. How about one last conversation with Xion?]

[Have a Natsuo, who is currently trying to drag a hefty bag out of his front door, stuffed full with things he just wants to take back home with him for the hell of it. ♥]

[He looks up, grins a little and waves. Bag momentarily forgotten, he walks over to Xion.]

Xion! What are you doing?

I'm trying to find everyone. You're going home, then? To Youji?

[Sophie sees Xion out her window and steps out the front door, not wanting to miss this opportunity. she smiles at her friend, standing with one hand resting reflexively against her growing abdomen] Xion!

[She runs on over. ♥]

[she laughs, amused by Xion's enthusiasm] You certainly seem to be in high spirits!

We did it! [throws her hands in the air!]

[after doing a bit of looking around in the old town, he finally finds Xion out on the observation deck. his TARDIS isn't too far away.]

Had a feeling I'd find you around here. Have you been waiting long? [he smiles warmly at her]

[Xion turns, blinking. When she realizes it's him, her cheeks turn pink.]

Ah... N-Not really. I've been saying good-bye to everyone...

Yep, been doing a bit of that myself. [walks up next to her as though he's watching the stars for a moment] So, heading back home again?

nah, 1/4, why not

[She shakes her head.] No. I'm staying here.

[... she pauses. He counts as a best friend, and that means she can tell him what she's really been thinking about this.]

I'm worried... I don't know how things are back home without me. I don't know if he's still awake, or if he... or if he fell asleep again, because I'm here instead of there, with him. [Xion takes a deep, shaky breath and lowers her eyes.] I know that last time, when we went back... It was right where we left off. But there's no way to tell if it's the same this time. It's not like I can go back and check, you know?

[She shakes her head, brow furrowing.] I... have to make sure that this can't happen again. That people aren't pulled back here. If whoever did this can bring me back, when there shouldn't have been anything to have been brought back... They're powerful. They're powerful, and we don't know what they're up to. Mayor Caligin wanted to learn how to bring the dead back to life... Resarci's son wanted to use us for entertainment. What does the person who actually brought us here want? How did they do it? I have to know, and I have to stop them. They're too much like Xemnas. This time, though, I...

[She lifts her head, finally, hands turning to fists at her sides.] This is something I can do. I don't have to go away in order to defeat him. This is my battle. So, even if Sora is still sleeping... Donald, Goofy, Riku, Kairi, and all of his other friends will have to be sad for just a little bit longer. I don't like it, but... This is something that I have to do.

[She hesitates now. Her cheeks tint red again, and, in a smaller voice, she adds:] Besides... Doesn't this count as a chance to live? Really live? If he is awake, then... I don't have to go back. I wish I could, so I can take care of Axel and help them stop Xemnas, but... I can't. So I'll have to do my best away from them. Roxas and Axel both wanted us to be together forever, just like me... But I don't think this is too bad, is it? Especially since... [She flushes more.] Especially since I won't be alone.

[She glances at him.] Doctor, a-are you... Are you going home?

[Hawk's looking for people before he goes, too, and breaks into a grin when he spots Xion, waving.] Hey, Xion!

Hawk! [Xion smiles and waves back, then heads over to meet him halfway.] Are you going home now?

[desertdaggers]

I'm going to look for a few other people first, but yeah, I'm going home. What are you going to do?

I'm going to stay. There's a lot left for me to do here.

[And Fuu is also looking for everyone!
She has changed into her Kyudo (http://faculty.washington.edu/kendo/025.jpg) uniform, and has a long bow over one shoulder and a bag over the other.
When she sees Xion on the street she waves enthusiastically.]

Fuu! [Xion waves back just as enthusiastically and runs over Sora's hair bouncing all the way.]

You're going home now?

Soon, Xion. But I wanted to say good-bye first. [She envelopes him in a quick hug for a moment, then looks into his face beaming happily.]

I'm so glad that there is a way for you to stay if you want to. Have you decided already?

[Ichijou, similarly, can be found wandering through the entire station with a somewhat dazed look on his face, checking the whole place out as if it was the first time he'd seen it. Since Nathan left him with the responsibility of taking care of it in everyone else's absence, he feels that it's his inherited property, and as such he has to familiarize himself with- oh hey, it's that kid who found the key to the lab. Things feel quite a bit different now that he doesn't see everyone around him as a potential threat.

With an uncharacteristically warm and sincere smile, he holds up a hand and waves a little with his fingertips.]

Are you looking for something? Or someone?

[Xion turns at the sound of Ichijou's voice. Ah... He's the one who really, really didn't want to leave. She smiles. She really is relieved that he hasn't been doomed to a horrible place.]

I'm looking for all of my friends. I'm hoping that I catch them before they go home, if they do.

Ah, I see...

I should probably do the same, although I'm not sure that anyone would want to see me before they leave. But those who are staying don't have much of a choice, since I'll be maintaining this place as a sort of base of operations and doing my best to make it a pleasant place to visit.

I'll be seeing you, right?
