Day 15 | ~ World's End Umbrella ~

[Like last time, Xion is searching out her friends. Anyone and everyone she talked to, all the people she met here -- She wants to meet with them, talk to them, find out if they're staying or leaving, say good-bye if it's the latter. Unlike last time, though, her spirits are higher. She can stay. She can stay and still be helpful, still search for the answers they've been looking for, stay and live, really live.

She's also searching for one person in particular. She has something to ask him -- to ask of him, to inform him of something, and she... Part of her is hopeful. Part of her is nervous. Another part of her... feels like she can't ask this of him. She shouldn't ask him to stay for her. She knows she's asking for Nathan, but that's what it feels like. She feels like she doesn't have the right to ask that of him. If he has something important to do at home, then she has no right at all. (If he has something important to do at home, and says no, then...) Xion takes a deep breath and lets it out. At the same time, she has to ask. She has to know. She has to find out for herself.

So, Luministi. How about one last conversation with Xion?]

[Have a Natsuo, who is currently trying to drag a hefty bag out of his front door, stuffed full with things he just wants to take back home with him for the hell of it. ♥]

[He looks up, grins a little and waves. Bag momentarily forgotten, he walks over to Xion.]

Xion! What are you doing?

I'm trying to find everyone. You're going home, then? To Youji?

[Nod!]

Finally! I don't like this place. It's weird. Are you going?

[Xion shakes her head.] No. There's more reason for me to stay than there is for me to go back.

[She isn't... entirely sure if that's true, but right now, it is. That's what she wants to believe.]

Huh? Here? But what's here that isn't back home?

I've done everything I can back home. There isn't anything left for me to do there.

... That sounds like a lot. You really did everything?

[He frowns. He could never imagine doing everything. Maybe coming close, but wouldn't there always be something else?]

But if you really did everything, then I guess your home would be boring.

It isn't that... I lived, really lived, through all the things I could. I never had that opportunity. But I did everything in my power to make sure things were going to turn out okay, and I can't go back now. If I do, then, I... [She trails off and looks away.]

It's not that it's boring. It's not that at all.

[Xion's acting really strange... Natsuo leeeans to the side, like he's trying to get back into Xion's line of vision, trying to figure out what's... um... wrong? Is something wrong?]

Do you think you can just go somewhere else? Or do you really want to stay in this weird place?

If I go back home, then it's over for me. It was my choice, but that's how it is.

Besides... It's not that bad here. This is the first real home that I've ever had.

[Natsuo doesn't quite understand. Xion doesn't have someone to go back to? Not even something?]

Yeah, it's not bad. It's just weird, and Youji's not here, so I'm going home. But hey! It's home for you. So you're already home then.

[Sort of. It's complicated, okay ;; And to be entirely honest... Xion doesn't know how Natsuo would react to all of it. So, best to play it safe.]

[Probably a good call.]

Then you don't have to worry about moving stuff. [He makes a wrinkly-nosed face as he inclines his head toward the bag of stuff he's pilfering. But then, he remembers a conversation they had before, and his expression lights up a bit.]

Hey. Xion. Is your room here going to have more stuff than your old room?

Anything I need, I have on me. [Xion pats her Organization-issued Backpack (complete with all the extensions! it's nice being an end-game character).]

I... [She smiles sheepishly.] I don't know how often I'll be here. But... Yes! If I have a room proper, then I'll put all sorts of stuff in it. I have you and Sophie to thank for that. Now I know the kinds of things a girl should put in her bedroom.

[lalalala guess who hasn't noticed she just slipped up]
