Day 12 | ~ Renewal ~

[She's back.

She's back.

She's alive and breathing and --

And she still looks like Sora. She doesn't know why, but she doesn't really care right now. She went back to him, she knows she did. It's the last thing she remembers, fading into light as everything she is and Roxas was flowed back to him.

And now she's back.

This is Luministi. This is that town. Why is she back? How is she back? She's not sure she cares. She's too excited. She's alive, she's back in that place where she met all of her new friends, she can finally start to live, really live, just like the Doctor showed her -- She is just so excited to be back.

Until she learns that Verita doesn't remember her. That... stings. Xion knew that everyone would forget her when she went back to Sora, but she had thought -- No... She didn't think. Things aren't the way they were.

Everyone's... forgotten her.

Xion is now just kind of wandering around the plaza, hood down, staring at the ground. She's not so excited any more. She's happy she's still alive, still exists, yes, that's true. But...

She's too wrapped up in her thoughts and feelings to notice the music following her around.]

[someone in a black coat like that isn't hard to miss at all, even if he is on the opposite side of the plaza, and he can't help the grin that immediately spreads across his features. even his musical accompaniment instantly turns energetic as well! naturally, he starts to make a beeline for her, hoping that's her and not one of the other black-coated people who came to the town before (the whole thing would be a bit awkward otherwise.)]

[She collapses into his arms, clinging and crying. It's all she can do.]

[he blinks in surprise because of her tears, but then hugs her tight, simultaneously lifting her off her feet as he does so]

[A small surprised squeak escapes her when she's picked up, but she buries her face into his clothes.]

I thought everyone -- Verita --

[his smile slips a bit and he sets Xion back down on her feet]

I know. The same goes for Audrey and the Sheriff, and I'm betting Osculia as well. [he releases his hold, putting a hand on her head, putting his smile back on] But that doesn't mean everyone's lost their memory of what happened.

I just... I knew everyone would forget me, but I forgot, and Verita, she... She was my first friend here. And... It reminded me that...

[She wipes her eyes.] I'm... I'm so glad you remember.

And you remembered me, like you remembered Verita. The heart never forgets even if the mind does, Xion. Deep down, you're still her friend, and she'd be happy to know you still think of her that way.
