◌ 005 ◌ Aliens! / Calling Raivis
[Fuu is walking to the park for archery practice (thusly attired and armed) when the message arrives. And she's rather delighted by it.]
Aliens! How amazing!
[Having made it only as far as the south-west corner of the library, she looks over to find that the Poseidon statue is gone.]
... Something is seriously up with that statue. First it was moving around in the weird-weather lighting, and now this.
[Suddenly she thinks of Raivis. Concerned that Miss Verita's message might have frightened the boy, she activates her CAT. After a moment of consideration, she decides to make the transmission open to all.]
Well, I'm not so sure about the sky falling [Fuu pauses and tilts the CAT up, showing a perfectly fine sky], but something strange is happening again.
Raivis, are you okay? Stay inside, alright? I'm going to have a look around-- oh! [As she had glanced up to suit actions to words, she notices the large Kirin-like statue from the greenhouse. Now across the street from her by the theatre.]
How did you get there...?

[Fuu pauses, her grin becoming even more nervous.]
More sound advice, Mister Braxiatel. And perhaps this has arrived in time?
[Risking a glance behind her she sees ivy, flowers and grasses a mere ten feet away looking terribly violent for plants. They grow even as she watches and reach out as if to ensnare her.]
Oh--
[And~ the Kirin decides to take that opportunity to rush her.]
Winds-
[ooc: She's intending to use a protection spell. Brax interrupts FTW? XD]

runabsurdly fast nonchalant stroll. Fuu is too far away for him to reach, so he tosses over an odd make-shift device of wires and metal from his pocket. It brings up a thin wall of light between Fuu and the Kirin - and then it drops.][suddenly more irritated than worried]
Surely you're joking. He's the most useless person in all of spacetime. [He's obviously not referring to himself]
[No one ever said Time Lords could prioritize]
[ooc; I hope this works?]

Winds of Admonishment!
[The air roars as the magic streams from her, binding the plants and the Kirin in thick swathes of wind, rendering them immobile.
Gathering up her hakama in one hand, slinging her bow over one shoulder opposite the quiver, she dashes towards Mister Braxiatel.]
Woo, I'm glad that worked! Thanks for the distraction. [Nabbing him by the elbow she steers them towards the nearest door.]
[ooc: lol! Aw, he's a star ^.^ If Brax allows himself to be steered inside, perhaps you could choose the place they end up? (It could be the tea house? I have no idea where it is on the map technically, but if you're gonna be stuck somewhere, it'd be not a bad place to be.)]

[Blissfully, it is the English tea room. As it is empty, he opts to start making the tea for himself.] Would you care for a cup?
[Questions about magic and long angry rants about relations who don't hand over proper supplies can be saved for after tea is gotten.]
[ooc: Excellently! A tea house is invariably the best place to be.]
no subject
Ohh, tea would be fantastic, thank you.
[Fuu smiles her thanks as she takes off the bow and quiver and sets them on the counter.]
Thank you for your warnings, Mister Braxiatel. A big stone Kirin coming after me is one thing, but the plants!
[She spares a moment to check the bow for damage. Other than the string being a bit out of whack, it seems to be okay, thankfully. She then glances out the window. Her magic is starting to disapate, but there is no doubt that the stone statue still wants to move and that the plants are still growing bigger.]
It might not be aliens from above like Miss Verita thought, but it's sure almost as crazy!

[and now, 20 questions in person!]
[Urk. Caught red-handed, so to speak. She didn't mind so much that Mister Braxiatel had seen her use the magic, but that it had been broadcast over the CAT. The people who had trapped them here now certainly knew.]
[Taking her CAT she turns it off of broadcasting. With a glance to Mister Braxiatel she makes sure that his is off as well before continuing.]
Yes, that was wind magic. [He'd asked a question, now it was her turn!]
I could have sworn that you were in the garden on the other side of the shopping plaza when you first called. How ever did you come so quickly?
[He didn't look one bit winded, and even when they were hustling towards the tea house it was like he was merely strolling!]
[NowI with added beverage!]
[Now in past-tense!]
