◌ 005 ◌ Aliens! / Calling Raivis

[Fuu is walking to the park for archery practice (thusly attired and armed) when the message arrives. And she's rather delighted by it.]

Aliens! How amazing!

[Having made it only as far as the south-west corner of the library, she looks over to find that the Poseidon statue is gone.]

... Something is seriously up with that statue. First it was moving around in the weird-weather lighting, and now this.

[Suddenly she thinks of Raivis. Concerned that Miss Verita's message might have frightened the boy, she activates her CAT. After a moment of consideration, she decides to make the transmission open to all.]

Well, I'm not so sure about the sky falling [Fuu pauses and tilts the CAT up, showing a perfectly fine sky], but something strange is happening again.
Raivis, are you okay? Stay inside, alright? I'm going to have a look around-- oh! [As she had glanced up to suit actions to words, she notices the large Kirin-like statue from the greenhouse. Now across the street from her by the theatre.]

How did you get there...?

[he cuts off his transmission and breaks into a run absurdly fast nonchalant stroll. Fuu is too far away for him to reach, so he tosses over an odd make-shift device of wires and metal from his pocket. It brings up a thin wall of light between Fuu and the Kirin - and then it drops.]

[suddenly more irritated than worried]

Surely you're joking. He's the most useless person in all of spacetime. [He's obviously not referring to himself]

[No one ever said Time Lords could prioritize]

[ooc; I hope this works?]

[As he's steered away, he hooks his foot around the device and kicks it up towards him; he catches and pockets it without losing momentum. Hand-eye and foot-eye coordination: they're important.]

[Blissfully, it is the English tea room. As it is empty, he opts to start making the tea for himself.]
Would you care for a cup?

[Questions about magic and long angry rants about relations who don't hand over proper supplies can be saved for after tea is gotten.]

[ooc: Excellently! A tea house is invariably the best place to be.]

They could of course be aliens from below. [as he sets the tea] That was interesting, what you did. May I hazard a guess that it was magic?

[NowI with added beverage!]

[He smiles briefly. He is inscrutability in its incarnate form, serving tea.] I walk rather quickly. Wind magic would be - elemental, then? So sorry for the questions. My universe is rather lacking in the magical department, so it's a point of curiosity to me. How do you take your tea?
