[The transmission begins with something of a disdainful snort. Someone is on the verge of throwing a tantrum as he stands in front of a window displaying the starry expanse outside, clutching a pillow in the most aggressive way it's physically possible for him to clutch a pillow.]

Really? Really!? I spent HOW many months making sure that every little nook and cranny of this station remains perfectly flawless and beautiful, waiting and waiting AND WAITING for this day, this MOMENT, and THIS is the thanks I get!? Being locked back here!? Just how in the hell am I supposed to welcome everyone like this, huh!? How am I supposed to be a gracious, pleasant host when I'm locked in the station's equivalent to a GODDAMN MAINTENANCE CLOSET!?

[His death-grip on the pillow tightens visibly.]

I'm going to have a word with that man, and if he doesn't help me fix this, I... I'll think of something!!

[The video switches off, but the audio stays on for a moment to catch a muffled comment:]

This was supposed to be such a good day...

I appreciate that offer. I believe that most of the station's controls are on my side, but I honestly don't know much about them like my contact does.

He can probably override the system to make opening things back up relatively quick and painless, although I'm concerned about why this happened in the first place...

That sounds like a wonderful vacation!! I can't decide which part I'm looking forward to most if this keeps up, the one where I die from isolation and loneliness or the one where I have to start severing and eating my own body parts to avoid starving to death!

I can't think of anything more relaxing than that!!

I felt that way too, for the first few weeks of being alone. But getting locked away from everyone else like this is downright insulting!

There's enough for me to eat on this side for a while, and if that runs out, I don't know, maybe a week or two? It won't even matter how much I have to work with if I don't manage to calm myself down.

I would think that he'd have to, unless something happened to him, too...

He doesn't like to be seen. Unfortunately, I think that describing him in any amount of detail would be a huge liability.

But if I don't hear back from him, I really haven't even the slightest idea what to do about all of this.

I could make some nice curtains or something. At least curtains can't lock.

The only major concern I have about that is the structural integrity of the station. I'm sure it's relatively sturdy, but being surrounded by glass makes me reluctant to suggest excessive force.

I've given a few individuals directions, but I don't know what kind of progress they're making. I certainly haven't been rescued yet, I can tell you that much.

Well, center-tied curtains were starting to gain popularity again last I checked, so perhaps something like a light-colored and wispy set of wide panels made of tulle with a contrasting dark opaque center-tied panel for a pleasing hourglass shape, maybe some lighter embellishments on that...
