[In the park is what must be another piece of someone's home - at least, to Jamie's thinking. He's managed to stumble across what appears to be part of some strange room. A large, hexagonal console sits in the middle of a small clearing, partially hidden by some trees. There's a white wall behind it, covered in roundels, and a coat rack standing off to one side, although it appears to be rather coat free at the moment.
The console itself has a lot of wee knobs and switches and some sort of panels on it - at least, from what he can see - and a cylindrical column in the center of the thing looks almost as if it could move up and down if it wanted. He stares at it for a moment before flipping on the CAT.]
Hey, I think I found one of those bits from someone's world. Does anyone know whose it is?
[Something about that console draws him closer, however, and he winds up walking over and reaching out a curious finger to poke at one of those switches. He mutters to himself, not realizing the CAT is picking that up too.]
And why does it look so familiar?

Oh my, this is strange... [she stops as she first steps onto the metal floor, tapping her foot a few times and marvelling at the strangeness of it. it reminds her of the space station. as a result, she looks around for a moment rather nervously. this level of technology will never sit well with her. but shaking that off (there are no visible threats, at least), she turns her attention back to him--and notices his expression] Jamie...are you all right?
no subject
There's something about this that's...och, I don't know.

I've been looking for you--I've finished your charm.
no subject
I'm sorry, ye said you'd finished the charm?

[she nods, reaching into the bag she's carrying and offering out two things--Jamie's original sock, and a nearly identical pair. she had a feeling he probably wouldn't want any flourishes on these, so she didn't make any adjustments] Here they are.

How long do ye think they'll take to work?

Hey, these are grand! Thank ye, Sophie.
[Then it's back on with the boots, the spare socks rolled up tightly and tucked into the sporran for safe keeping. Getting back to his feet, he glances down at his calf for a moment.]
Aye, well, I don't feel any different yet.

Give them a little time at least! [in reality, she's not sure if they even will work, but the more she believes in them, the better chance they have. and really, perhaps she can give his memory a bit of prodding to help...]
What can you tell me about this place? It's so strange!

There's some sort of instruments here. These ones...these ones control flight.

[He trails off, turning to look at Sophie with wide eyes.] But I remember being in one.

[As hard as he tries, he can't bring that part of things to mind, however. Frustrated, he shakes his head.] I don't recall why, just that it meant something.
no subject
But what others, Jamie? Do you remember who you were with?
no subject
There were other young folk there. No one I knew, but I...I wouldn't have, anyway. I took Samantha's ticket so she'd not be able go on the flight.

She was a lass I met at the...airport, I think it's called. Her brother had gone missing and she was very upset.

[curious and concerned] Did you find him?

[but she focuses on this memory for now, frowning at one thing that seems out of place] How do you know you rescued him if you never met him?
no subject
Well, we rescued all the kidnapped people, and I know he was with them. They'd been able to figure out where they all were, ye see. Besides, Samantha was waiting to see him when I said goodbye to her.
no subject
You said good-bye? Where did you go then?
no subject
We said goodbye to Ben and Polly, and then we were going to go back to the TARDIS. But someone had taken it, and we saw it being driven off on the back of a lorry.
