Day 14 | ~ Dearly Beloved ~
[When the video feed turns on, it shows Xion standing in a room that is nondescript and white. There are no decorations, nothing displaying personality, and there isn't a single person who would think that it's a girl's bedroom. It'd be easy to assume that she's somewhere in the space station, not in her town home, if Luministi itself wasn't directly visible.
The CAT must be sitting on a table, because Xion can be seen in front of a window with her back to the camera. After a moment, she speaks, still not showing her face.]
It's weird... Isn't it? Pieces of our worlds are starting to show up in town... And here I thought once we destroyed those two objects, we'd be going home. [But... Where would she go? She tries not to think about it.
Xion shakes her head, then turns to look at her CAT.] Lately, I've been wondering... What's waiting for everyone back home? What are you wanting to go back to? More importantly... Who are you wanting to go back to? [Because everyone's got somebody, Xion thinks. How can they not?] I realized, not too long ago, that even though I have so many friends here that are so important to me... I don't know much about them. Not really. So... I want to know.
[Well. In the meantime...] I want to search for Lab #3. The sooner we find it, the better. I think that, since there are doors from the space station to our houses, maybe somewhere in town there's a door that secretly leads to that place. Maybe in the mansion, since we haven't really had a chance to explore it yet. Does anyone wanna look with me?

Oh, yeah, of course! I've waited this long, haven't I? A bit longer isn't going to do much harm. And anyway, you can finally see her! That's the important bit, isn't it?

She'd take his hand if he hadn't folded his arms. She fidgets awkwardly with the ends of her sleeves instead, her arms hanging at her sides.]
It's okay, you know. To be sad because you miss her.

I know. [puts a hand on her head, ruffling Xion's hair briefly before pulling his hand back] I'll get back to her somehow. I always do. [offers her a small, genuine smile.]

Her (Sora's) hair bounces back into place after the ruffle, and she nods to what he says. She's glad for that smile.] Yeah.
[... to make up for not being able to take his hand, she instead reaches out and clasps lightly in her fingers the very edge of his coat. For a moment, the urge to say something rises up in her.
I wish I had someone to get back to, too.
I've all ready gone back to Sora. Going back to him isn't the same.
I don't want to leave. Luministi is the only home I have left.
I want to go with you. Can I go with you?
In her mind, these thoughts aren't clear and defined; they're jumbled together, layered, tripping over each other in a struggle for dominance. She can't grasp any of them enough to put words to them, so she says nothing.]

[Something in her trips over itself, stops, skips. Is he -- No, that can't be what he's saying. No... (Can it? Is it? Could it be? Please please please?)]
no subject
[perhaps he is, and perhaps he's sort of missing the point. he can be a bit ignorant with these types of things...]

A thought strikes her. Xion tilts her head.] When you sent your first message -- You said you had something else to tell me.
no subject
[not a split second later:] Oh wait! I remember! You'd asked what I was going back to, right?
