Day 14 | ~ Dearly Beloved ~

[When the video feed turns on, it shows Xion standing in a room that is nondescript and white. There are no decorations, nothing displaying personality, and there isn't a single person who would think that it's a girl's bedroom. It'd be easy to assume that she's somewhere in the space station, not in her town home, if Luministi itself wasn't directly visible.

The CAT must be sitting on a table, because Xion can be seen in front of a window with her back to the camera. After a moment, she speaks, still not showing her face.]

It's weird... Isn't it? Pieces of our worlds are starting to show up in town... And here I thought once we destroyed those two objects, we'd be going home. [But... Where would she go? She tries not to think about it.

Xion shakes her head, then turns to look at her CAT.] Lately, I've been wondering... What's waiting for everyone back home? What are you wanting to go back to? More importantly... Who are you wanting to go back to? [Because everyone's got somebody, Xion thinks. How can they not?] I realized, not too long ago, that even though I have so many friends here that are so important to me... I don't know much about them. Not really. So... I want to know.

[Well. In the meantime...] I want to search for Lab #3. The sooner we find it, the better. I think that, since there are doors from the space station to our houses, maybe somewhere in town there's a door that secretly leads to that place. Maybe in the mansion, since we haven't really had a chance to explore it yet. Does anyone wanna look with me?

[She gives a cheery wave and settles into the seat across from her. (She doesn't even have to look at the menu - she knows what she'll order.
Her smile is a touch serious as she looks at him.]

I'm glad to see you. And, thank you for asking such an important question earlier. I think you're right - we've become friends, but we still don't know too much about each other.

[Xion looks down a little.]

It came to me not too long ago, a little bit before we could get to the space station... Sophie's having a baby. A baby! And there's someone she wants to go back to, someone she wants to see and be with even when she's mad at them. It made me realize... We're all like her, aren't we? Most of us, anyway. With people we want to go back to...

Y-yes, but- I'm sorry, Xion, but baby?! Miss Sophie is going to have a baby?

[This is totally news to her! She claps her hands together excitedly.]

How wonderful that she could tell you, well, all of that!

Y-Yeah, she is! She said it's too early to know anything else about it, though. I didn't know that normal peo... [Xion catches herself and shakes her head.]

S-So, what about you, Fuu?

[Still a bit hung up on the news, give her a moment-]

That' so wonderful- I'll have to congratulate her!

Oh-? [She blushes brightly] But oh, no, Xion! Of course I'm not having a baby!

[Folding her hands in front of her, she looks off to the side for a moment. This will not be easy, but she believes in what Xion said.]

I have a family - My parents and older sister. I also have many important friends... friends that I made only about a year ago.

My parents... I don't want to worry them. It is the only thing I can do for them. My sister, she understands me when few others can. And my friends...

[She trails off and needlessly adjusts the chopsticks on the table before her before continuing.]

We went to another world together. We suffered and we triumphed. In it's way, it's not unlike what is happening here. I'm very thankful that I had Hikaru and Umi with me at that time. We are now bound with a unique friendship.

They are... the bravest, strongest people I know. [She grins-] Somehow, I seem to be making a lot of friends like that!

But they are... special in their own ways. Hikaru is like a little sister, full of vitality and very sweet. Umi is a bit strict, but also very compassionate. And... Ferio... [she trails off, blushing, changing what she was going to say] and- Clef is very wise but prudish, and Caldina has really changed her ways, and the others-! Yes, they are all very special friends.

I... have [had? no, have.] two best friends. They're the first friends I ever made...

Axel knows about everything, so whenever me and Roxas have questions, we can ask him. Roxas uses the Keyblade like me... and he's very honest.

Even just from that much, they sound like excellent, steadfast friends.
Have you known them for long?
