[Fuu sits contemplatively in front of the windows, staring out into the stars. Above the pages of her Luministi journal she holds a pen loosely in her hand, her mind wandering from her writing.]

[Everything that had happened was so unbelievable. The end had been so sudden and shocking. And now... now she gets to go home. The thing that she wanted the most also fills her with the most dread - how can she possibly explain her absence for over three months?]

[But before she gets to worry too much over that, she should make sure that she says proper farewells to everyone she met here. Because they have shared a very unique experience together. Something they will be unable to share with anyone else.]


[ooc: Much the same as Xion's post, Fuu will be in search of everyone in order to say goodbye! Or, of course, you might find her first XD]

Yes... [She looks out the windows for a moment more before getting to her feet and bowing deeply to Miss Sophie.]

Thank you for all you did, and for all your help. We wouldn't have made it this far without you!

...And I'm sorry that your wedding didn't go ahead as planned.

[but she realises what Fuu just said about the wedding, and her jaw drops] You thought that was real!

Oooh. [Had it been that clearly fake? Oh, dear, but she hadn't noticed at all.]

I'm very sorry for not realizing it. But then, what was it for?

Why, to see the mayor, of course! I would never...the Doctor... [trails off, flustered and reddening]

[She needs a long moment to think about that (which is good, because Sophie could probably use a moment too). Finally the light bulb turns on.]

Oh! I had completely missed that! The Mayor would be at the ceremony, right? [bows] I'm really very sorry to have troubled you with my misunderstanding.

[Sophie is still very, very red, even after having a moment] Yes, that was the idea. [after a pause, she adds:] It was the Doctor's idea. [that makes it better, somehow]

[A red-head with a red face is not something you see every day in Tokyo... It's totally cute!]

Ah, I see. It was very good of you to go along with it. I doubt we could have gotten in to the mansion without you doing so!

Yes, well, I'm glad you think so. [and she is in need of a topic change. now. so she quickly blurts out the first thing she thinks of] Are you looking forward to seeing Ferio again?

[Fuu blushes fiercely then looks down, her eyes finding the gold ring on her left ring finger.]

Oh- oh, I- [swallows and takes a breath] Yes, I am very much.

Yes, well, if we all said that, then everyone would be uselessly thanking everyone else.

I do hope all goes well for you when you return home.

[Fuu just gives a knowing smile at that. She supposed it would look a bit odd to someone who (probably) wasn't from a very teamwork-oriented culture.]


[At the sudden mention of home, she can't quite keep her smile from slipping a bit.]

Because I simply don't know how I can explain what happened. No one - nearly no one - will believe the truth. How can my parents forgive me for being missing for over three months?

[thinks about that for a moment. she can easily claim that some sort of strong magic was involved, but in Fuu's case...] I'm not sure they should have to know. It may be easiest to say you don't remember. Or is there a sort of technology that could have been responsible?

[a rueful grin] I'm afraid that they will want to know.
It may be easy for me to 'forget' everything, but it will worry everyone else, thinking that I've lost all that memory. They would probably send me doctors because of it, and it'll cause a lot of trouble.
I'm afraid there is no technology I can attribute it to either.

[frowns] I'm not very familiar with such things, but the Doctor has spoken to me about time rather...differently than I understand it. Perhaps you should ask him or Mr Braxiatel? They may have a solution.

Oh, is that so? I will have to do that then.

[She nods strongly. If nothing else, she certainly feels better for having Miss Sophie's advice.]

If I may ask, what will you do when you get home?

[blinks; thoughtfully] Well, I suppose I'll sell flowers. Howl will probably have to do more spells for the king, as he's Royal Wizard now. Though that may change, now that Wizard Suliman is back... Or perhaps it already has, if I have been gone for months.

That sounds splendid! And if for some reason flowers don't work out you always have your sewing too, right!

I hope that any changes that have happened are for the best!
