[Fuu sits contemplatively in front of the windows, staring out into the stars. Above the pages of her Luministi journal she holds a pen loosely in her hand, her mind wandering from her writing.]

[Everything that had happened was so unbelievable. The end had been so sudden and shocking. And now... now she gets to go home. The thing that she wanted the most also fills her with the most dread - how can she possibly explain her absence for over three months?]

[But before she gets to worry too much over that, she should make sure that she says proper farewells to everyone she met here. Because they have shared a very unique experience together. Something they will be unable to share with anyone else.]

[ooc: Much the same as Xion's post, Fuu will be in search of everyone in order to say goodbye! Or, of course, you might find her first XD]

[thinks about that for a moment. she can easily claim that some sort of strong magic was involved, but in Fuu's case...] I'm not sure they should have to know. It may be easiest to say you don't remember. Or is there a sort of technology that could have been responsible?

[a rueful grin] I'm afraid that they will want to know.
It may be easy for me to 'forget' everything, but it will worry everyone else, thinking that I've lost all that memory. They would probably send me doctors because of it, and it'll cause a lot of trouble.
I'm afraid there is no technology I can attribute it to either.

[frowns] I'm not very familiar with such things, but the Doctor has spoken to me about time rather...differently than I understand it. Perhaps you should ask him or Mr Braxiatel? They may have a solution.

[She perks up a little at the thought]
Oh, is that so? I will have to do that then.

Thank you, Miss Sophie! You're helping me out still!

[amused] Yes, well, I do hope it helps.

[She nods strongly. If nothing else, she certainly feels better for having Miss Sophie's advice.]

If I may ask, what will you do when you get home?

[blinks; thoughtfully] Well, I suppose I'll sell flowers. Howl will probably have to do more spells for the king, as he's Royal Wizard now. Though that may change, now that Wizard Suliman is back... Or perhaps it already has, if I have been gone for months.

That sounds splendid! And if for some reason flowers don't work out you always have your sewing too, right!

I hope that any changes that have happened are for the best!

[considers that] As long as it's not hats.

[smiles] The Witch of the Waste is gone now, so I imagine that at least some changes are. As long as Howl hasn't gotten into too much trouble without me.

[laughs] No? Well, I was imagining dresses, actually. The cream-coloured one I saw at the time we had amnesia was quite beautiful.
If you have a job you enjoy you won't have to work a day in your life!

[And returns the smile at that last. It sounds like Miss Sophie might be busy with more than a job when she returns.]

Oh my, I'd nearly forgotten! [removes her satchel of belongings, setting it on the floor beside her, then opens it and, after a moment's search, carefully withdraws an item with both hands] I am sorry I didn't get this to you sooner. I'm not certain the charm will of much use now, but... [offers a green dress trimmed in lace out to Fuu]

[Fuu is completely speechless! She reverently takes the dress with both hands and bows deeply in appreciation. After admiring it for a moment more she finds some words.]

Thank you so much, Miss Sophie! It is absolutely lovely. I'm honoured that you were able to take the time to make this for me.

If I may, what charm is within it?

[blushes faintly] I hope it suits you.

A protective charm. I darned it into the seams, so it shouldn't wear or weaken. It was meant for this town, but I suppose we should be glad we don't need it here anymore.

It is perfect. Your sense of design is just right.

[grin] We can indeed be thankful for that! But who knows when else I might need some protection. I will treasure it.

[And with a start she realizes that she has next to nothing to give in return but for some recently prepared food.]

Um... please accept this as a token of my appreciation. It's not much...

[From the top of her bag she brings out a square lacquered box and holds it out to Sophie. Inside is the sushi, onigiri and leaf-wrapped fish that she had made with Hawk.]

[relieved] I'm so glad you think so.

Oh! My, thank you. [accepts the box, carefully opening it so she can see the contents] Is this from your world?

Ah, the sushi and onigiri are! It's rice with raw fish and dried seaweed.
[Points them out as she says the names, then moves on to the leaves.]

This, though, is from Hawk's world. It's fish and couscous with a coconut sauce.

I see... [continues examining the food]

Would you like to share it?

That's very kind of you! If I may take one of the leaf-wrapped fish, I'll be very thankful. However it's not necessary for me to take much, for when I return home, I will be close to places that sell food.

I hope that you weren't taken while in a remote place?

You did give it to me to begin with. [offers the box out to her so that she can take one of the fish]

Oh, not at all. In fact, I was in the castle with just about everyone at once.

And it's yours now! [Takes one and carefully places it in her bag.] Thank you.

I'm glad to hear that you came from a safe place. I'm certain they eagerly await your return.

I shall be very cross with them if they aren't.

[Fuu blinks at what seems to be such a vehement response, but then chuckles.]

And you would be well within your right to be!

[Hugging the lovely green dress to her she smiles brightly at Sophie, firmly not allowing her expression to slip.]

Farewell, Sophie. All the best to you in the future.

[She bows and takes a deep breath. Saying goodbye is so difficult...]

[Sophie is surprised to realise that this moment has come, but she understands as well. if they have to leave, better to part ways now, instead of drawing it out. she carefully closes the box of food and shifts her expression of surprise to a smile] And to you, Fuu. I'm very glad that we were able to meet. Farewell.
