Everyone, I have some very interesting information to share with you.

Upon the Sheriff's recommendation, I messaged the Mayor directly to ask about this 'new resident program' of his. I'm pleased to say that after some time, he did reply personally.

Now, both him and the Sheriff were surprised that I'm even asking about this, because they are under the impression that we signed up to be here. Well, have a look at the video that he sent me - I've managed to attach it to this message.

Anyways, I'm pretty sure that I didn't sign up to be here. But I believe that we did all have that mysterious flash and the tall man in a black suit, with a black hat, I think? And perhaps carrying something. So, I tried to ask the Mayor if his recruiter looks like that. I also asked if I could review my application to the program.

However, my request was met with more lovely resident side-stepping. Miss Osculia replied that the applications are confidential and not available to view after they've been submitted. Now, do any of you know about privacy laws? Because I'm quite certain that there should be nothing restricting the one who filled out the form from reviewing it. If you can think of an argument so that we can see our forms, it might be worth a try.

Either way, I hope this helps. Miss Osculia's supposed to let me know when the Mayor is available to 'address my concerns'...

Certainly, and certainly!

Besides them flat-out bringing us in as 'new blood,' I can't imagine what, though. I'm sure that they could have found plenty of people who legitimately wanted to come here, so why us, and why all the secrets?

But why would they need "new blood"? Why force us to come here without warning and then pretend we made a choice? Why pick people from different worlds to begin with? What could it all be for!?

I'm quite used to dealing with people who are wicked, but they at least have a reason for the wicked things they do!

Well, I would hazard a guess that the town is dying. The note that the Doctor got from the greenhouse seemed to indicate that the people of this town will benefit greatly from us, but we- well, it seemed to imply something bad for us.

It's all to help themselves, with little concern for our free will. If I knew what they needed I might very well volunteer to help, but it's just been games and secrets. The 'why' is a very important question. I can't fight if I don't know what is truly going on.

And we can hardly help when we don't know what they need! Even if they are dying, why would they need us?

[then again, she could think of a reason why a dying town might want her. and Mr Braxiatel and the Doctors, considering their technical knowledge. and...maybe it wasn't the best question, really]

More importantly, how can we do anything for them without knowing what they need?

Literally new blood? In a small town like this, if they don't get many new people in often, inbreeding would be a great concern.

And of course, we all have unique talents and perspectives on life. Perhaps it's, well, a 'revitalization' like the program says.

We can't... if they won't tell us anything, then we can only keep thinking of ourselves and getting back home.

Which hardly seems a likely way to save them from anything! It makes no sense at all.

Yep! Pretty much zero sense.

I guess we'll just have to wait for more clues, but they seem to always come with danger attached.

As does everything else in this town.
