[This gray-skinned horned girl will be wandering around with a strange candy corn ball thing in hand until she reaches the town square. She'll be hovering on the edge of the celebration looking one part contemplative and one part unsure. If you look human, chances are she'll be giving you a very interested look as well.
Also, if you look at your CAT, you'll find an oddly typed message in jade green font:]
I Dont Know This All Seems So Callous
The Gifts Were A Nice Gesture
But Allow Me The Delusion That A Basket Of Inoffensive Food Items And Paraphernalia Might Be An Insufficient Catalyst To Heartfelt Gratitude
Even If The Basket Appears Very Well Made
And The Two Wheel Device Was Unexpectedly Generous
Still Id Like To Return Home As Soon As Possible
If Anyone Can Direct Me To The Mayors Office I Would Appreciate It Thanks

Keeping the bike on the path is that thing today.
He does manage to avoid striking the strange grey girl. Barely. He and the basket tumble from the bike and he hardly notices, he's too busy staring.]

Kanaya jumps a bit at the near miss, then cringes a bit when she sees the boy and his bicycle go down in all their fragile glory. R.I.P., human boy, she hardly knew ye.
But just in case he didn't go out flaming in the most trivial fictional death ever, she quickly trots over to make sure he's okay.]
Are you alright?

[All of his stuff is just...everywhere. Including the hat, caught in some shrub branches. Luke is sitting there alternately rubbing his head and shaking it.
When he does look up to answer "yeah", a startled sort of choke comes out instead.]

[Interacting with a human up close is a little surreal, but she's seen Rose via viewport enough to know what to expect. That Luke hasn't had the same fair warning doesn't occur to her quite yet, though, so she just nods at his affirmation. Maybe he's just in shock over the crash?
While he gets his head together, Kanaya fetches his hat from the shrub and brushes a leaf off, giving it a quick appraisal at the same time. Human fashion isn't too bad. Then she holds it out to him.]

So Luke is sputtering the whole time she fetches the hat and holds it out.]
Uh- th-thanks! I mean...no, that is what I mean, I just...s-sorry for almost running into you there...
Are they real? [Blatantly staring at her horns. Luke hasn't even managed to put the hat back on his head yet, so his unruly hat-hair is in full view of the world.]
no subject
Yes. Why wouldn't they be?
no subject
[Or are they something else? Really, Luke, is this any way to talk to a lady?]
Um...I hope that wasn't insulting. Sorry if it was.

Now what, Serket?]
It's next to the town square, in the town hall, but you'll likely not have much luck getting in to see him.

Why Not
Did He Not Say He Looked Forward To Seeing Us
[video]
Aye, well, for one thing, he's not supposed to be around anymore. And even if for some reason he's back, ye could never get in to see him no matter how ye tried.

In Fact Its Downright Inconsiderate
In That Case Who Do We Address If We Want To Be Returned To Our Proper Places
no subject
That's just it. We thought we'd done that, gotten it so people could go back. And we were tracking down the man who was in charge so it'd not happen again. But we've not been able to find him.

It Just Seems Like It Would Be Easier To Confine People Who Are Completely Ignorant
Not That I Would Know

[Not a thought he cares much for, to be honest - for quite a few reasons.]

I don't know that he'll be in, I'm afraid.

How Long Have You Stayed Here If I May Ask

Ah, let me think… counting the previous times, I think it would be about seven, maybe eight months.

Is That A Typical Term Of Residency Here
And Is It Possible To Abbreviate It By Say

We could try looking for a way out, but I can't say how much luck we'll have with that.
