[This gray-skinned horned girl will be wandering around with a strange candy corn ball thing in hand until she reaches the town square. She'll be hovering on the edge of the celebration looking one part contemplative and one part unsure. If you look human, chances are she'll be giving you a very interested look as well.
Also, if you look at your CAT, you'll find an oddly typed message in jade green font:]
I Dont Know This All Seems So Callous
The Gifts Were A Nice Gesture
But Allow Me The Delusion That A Basket Of Inoffensive Food Items And Paraphernalia Might Be An Insufficient Catalyst To Heartfelt Gratitude
Even If The Basket Appears Very Well Made
And The Two Wheel Device Was Unexpectedly Generous
Still Id Like To Return Home As Soon As Possible
If Anyone Can Direct Me To The Mayors Office I Would Appreciate It Thanks

[Not a thought he cares much for, to be honest - for quite a few reasons.]

What Do You Mean
no subject
I'll not say as I understand it entirely, but some of the people who liked what they saw got a wee bit, well, excitable over the whole thing. And if they had their way, they'd want to see more of the same. So that could be a reason, I suppose.

Your Theory I Mean Not The Circumstances
If It Were True Though Wouldnt It Be To Our Benefit To Be As Thoroughly Unentertaining As Possible
Though Its Possible That Doing So Could Spur Artificial Stimulation From Our Captors Which Might Be Even Worse

Let's see, there was that music that followed us around for awhile, and the masquerade where some of us lost our faces, and the dreams that came to life...
I'd say 'worse' doesn't quite describe that well enough.

[Okay, those sound a little different. She likes her face right where it is, thanks, so maybe she shouldn't go out of her way to make anyone especially important angry. Unless it's for a worthy cause, anyway. She stares at his message for a spell before typing her next.]
The Music One Doesnt Seem So Bad

Well, mostly that wasn't, but everyone had their own music. So things got a wee bit muddled. There were these sounds too, like if ye slapped someone, it was very audible. Sound...sound effects, that's it.
I'd keep an eye out, if I were ye.
pretend i didn't type "at his message" in the last tag orz
Lest I Lose Them Both
Anyway Thank You That Was Very Helpful
My Name Is Kanaya
Whats Yours
Of course! I just assumed you meant the video anyway.
[Or even listening to spoken words sometimes, depending on how complicated they get.]
I called the town Looming Misty for the longest time because I'd only read it and not heard anyone say it.
Kuh-nigh-uh. Kanaya Maryam. Though your pronunciation is fine too. It has its own charm as a little parcel of cultural intersection manifest in an alternative interpretation of an approximate linguistic denotation.
Looming Misty is a pretty good one too.

O-oh, aye. Aye, that. Well, ah, it's good to meet ye, Kanaya.
[He does try to make the effort to pronounce it like she does, at least. Then he sighs, rubbing at the back of his neck.]
Although, I'm sorry you've gotten dragged into all of this. Maybe if we'd been able to track down the person we were looking for, none of us would be in this mess now.

It's not your fault. I'm not as perturbed by the fact that I'm here as much as the reason why, which appears to be trivial at best. As long as we can be returned in due time, I'm not too bothered. Though I guess I'm a little worried that my friends will assume the worst of what's become of me.
no subject
At least, that's what I've heard, aye?
no subject
Not to say I'm questioning your sincerity, but if what you said is true, then that's great.

If ye happen across any of the others who mention being brought back to the town, ask them and they'll tell ye.
