[The snow falls in great flakes from the sky, covering the walkway that's sprung up out in the lake. The one that connects to what looks like some sort of tomb, with a stylized metal man of some sort on the wall outside the great, heavy doors. It has voices, as well, drifting out into the cold - a young girl and a man, both with English accents.]

You look very nice in that dress, Victoria.

Thank you. Don't you think it's a bit...?

A bit short? Oh I shouldn't worry about that, look at Jamie's.

[From the expression on Jamie's face, the girl's voice strikes some sort of cord deep inside - and his own reply is barely a murmur.]

Victoria...

[Some time passes before he notices the footprints, but once he does, he - like everyone else - starts to follow them, eventually making his way to the fire in the observation deck. As he's rubbing his hands to try and warm them, he looks up to see that question scrawled across the many screens in the area.]

Och, that can't be good.

(OOC: Feel free to run into Jamie at the Cyberman's tomb or on the way to the observation deck or at the deck itself. Just let me know which in your reply!)

Aye, I do. It's another one of those things from my world. Er, well, not exactly my world, but I've been here.

Not particularly a place I wanted to see again, mind ye. Apparently someone had other ideas.

Why didn't you want to see it again? What's wrong with it?

Aye, well...that's a long story. Let's just say I've never fancied the though of having another tangle down the Cybermen's tomb.

[He nods over towards the stylized image of the metal man outside the doors, then frowns.]

Not that they'll be a problem if the door's still the way it was when we left, but I'm not entirely sure it can be. Not if the place is here now.

[painlessfighter]

Huh? There's something in there? [His FULL ATTENTION is now on that door!!] And you said they're dangerous? How dangerous? And they can get out? Can we beat them?

[bonnypiperlad]

They're called Cybermen, and aye, they're dangerous. Very dangerous. They're stronger than men, and can control their minds. And they've wanted to take us and make them into more beings just like them to build an army, but the Doctor's always managed to stop them.

[And Jamie is sure he can if they got out...but that's the part he's not sure about.]

I don't know if they'll be able to get out of there or not, though.

[painlessfighter]

That sounds creepy. [But interesting! He's still staring at that door.] What if that's what's next for us? Or, or what if they're between us and home?

[bonnypiperlad]

What if... [Jamie looks alarmed, as neither of those possibilities truly had occurred to him. But then a determined expression settles across his features.]

Then we fight. I'll not be converted, not if I can help it.

[But he, too, is staring at the door.]

Of course, if there's some way for us to see if they're still asleep in there, that might help...

Let's look for a way. [Nod! ... And then he starts heading right for that door to get a closer look!]

Natsuo! [A look of alarm crosses Jamie's features as the lad goes over to the door.]

Wait, don't touch that door! It'll kill ye!

[painlessfighter]

[and he actually stops just short of touching the door!]

Huh? [He looks back at Jamie] Just touching the door will kill me?

[bonnypiperlad]

Aye! It's electray...electrified. It'll give ye an awful shock if ye try to touch it with your bare hands.

[painlessfighter]

Oh. Like those stupid picture frames. [He glares at the door.] Boo. So then how do we check to see if they're sleeping?

[bonnypiperlad]

We don't. [It's an immediate, kneejerk sort of reaction, very much brought on by not wanting to unleash the Cybermen on the town. But what if the door's not electrified? If it wasn't and they were awake in there...]

Maybe if there's a way to get the door open without touching it? But they're quite heavy, so it'd have to be something we could use to pull on the handles.
