[Flynn's expression is livid as his video flicks on. He's halfway through a threat, too angry to realize his mistake of turning on the CAT a moment late.]

--hope I never get my hands on whoever is responsible, because they'll need a lot more than a magic flower when I'm done.

[He hesitates a moment, obviously warring with himself on whether it's worth it to say more. A beat later, disgusted, he ends the message.]

Hey! He'd not run off and leave us behind. [Well, not without a purpose, and even then he'd come back. This time, though, Jamie's quite aware things are different.]

There was this flash of light just before he vanished, so I'd say more like a spell. Come to think of it, I could have sworn I'd seen something like it before...

[Flynn's experience with the Doctor is a little more limited, but he'll take Jamie's word for it.]

Seen something like it before, huh?

[Flynn frowns slightly, rubbing the back of his neck.]

In town? Because I'm not gonna lie -- if we have to worry about vanishing on top of everything else, I'm going to find an entirely new level of unhappy to sink to.

Not exactly. More like what happened the first time I was brought there, when I'd stepped in the fairy ring.

[But maybe it's something different. He's not at all sure.]

Aye, I'd not blame ye. Especially not when ye were back home doing...say, what were ye doing, anyway? You'd not said earlier.

[Flynn lifts an eyebrow. Fairy ring sounds familiar...]

You mean a witches' ring?

[He's not certain what to do if there's a witch roaming about vanishing people, but Flynn's prepared to at least keep a look-out now. As for what he's been up to...

Flynn's expression drops almost straight into a deadpan as he examines his knuckles.]

Oh, you know. Nothing too important. Obviously. Otherwise I wouldn't have ended up here, right? It's not like I was in the middle of my wedding or anything.

[Little bitter. Tiny bit.]

Some people call them that, aye. But that was back home, not here.

[So there's probably not any witches around vanishing people. Probably. He grimaces visibly as Flynn continues, however.]

They took ye from your own wedding? Aye, I'd not blame ye for wanting to have a few words with them over that. If they'd taken me away from a lassie I loved...

[Well, there'd be more than words in that case.]

Look, we'll figure out some way to get everyone back again. And with luck it'll be like they said and it'll be like you've not left at all.

[Flynn would like to have a few more things than words with the people who took him, too, but he pulls his mind off that long enough to listen to what Jamie is saying.]

I hope so. I mean... I'm not freaking out or anything, but come on. What is this? The third time? You'd think they'd have enough of this by now!

Aye. Apparently they're not done with us yet. [They, or he or she or whoever's taken them.]

We'll get through it, though. It's just a matter of figuring out what they want this time, right?
