[Before taking up Nathan on his offer to send him home, Jamie heads back to his townhouse. There's a few things that were left behind that he needs to fetch, like his claymore. And maybe a few other small things that he's kept as mementos of his trip here. He doesn't know if they'll come with him or not, but he wants to try. However, once he steps through the door, he finds himself wandering through the different rooms, rather than immediately collecting his things. It's funny, he thinks. When he had come here, everything was unknown to him. The technology, the people - the man calling himself the Doctor, who didn't look a thing like the funny little man he had just said goodbye to on the moors of Scotland. None of it made any sense. And when the dreams had started, it had made everything even more strange. All those bits of a life he no longer remembered living...for a bit, he thought he was going mad.
He remembers it now, though. Or, well, most of it. Enough that he can recall his adventures with the Doctor easily. All the beasties they fought, all the times they had to live on their wits, and all the people he had come to meet as well. Ben and Polly, who thought of him a bit like a little brother that was always getting into trouble. Beautiful Victoria, who had broken his heart when she left. And clever Zoe, with her head for figures and an impulsive streak to rival his own. Zoe, who was now back home, like he was supposed to be, and without her memories too. What would happen to his memories, when he left? Would Sophie's socks survive the journey and help them stay put? Or would they slip away from him again, leaving him like he was before?
Standing in front of the viewscreen in his living room, he looks at it, or more accurately, through it. He's not really seeing it. Instead, he's thinking about Nathan's offer. The man needs help, and what does he have to go back to? A life on the run, captured or killed by the English? A life without the Doctor? Without realizing it, the CAT's flickered to life during his trip through the townhouse, and if anyone's actually watching, they might see the indecision on his face as he tries to figure out what to do - and when he finally does speak.]
Maybe it'd not be so bad, if I stayed here instead.
((OOC note: For reference, the thread with the Doctor is occurring last, chronologically.))

Does this make your decision more difficult?
no subject
How am I supposed to choose between that?
no subject
...Mister Jamie, I believe you have to go where your heart is. Is it at home with the people you know there, or is it with the new people you have met?
I- I'm sorry if it is a question that makes it even harder but... I understand the choice you need to make, somewhat.
no subject
What about ye, Fuu? Are ye trying to decide that as well?
no subject
But... I had to make a decision in the past like this.
no subject
Would ye mind telling me how that happened? It...it might help me. To make up my own mind, that is.
no subject
Well, I was once brought to another world against my will. There were... many hardships and many triumphs. In the end we were able to save this other world. There is an open door to travel between my world and theirs freely, but I had to choose if I wanted to live out a life with my new friends and help rebuild the world, or if I wanted to return home to Japan and continue living my life there.
I chose my life in Japan. A piece of my heart is always in that other world, but the larger part is with my family and my friends at home. And that other world will get by and rebuild, with or without further help from my hands.

But...ye said there was this door between the worlds. Could ye not go back, if that's what ye really wanted?

I feel that... I should live my life with all my energy. If I tried to live in both worlds, I feel like I would be giving them... a half-life. I'm sorry, it's a bit hard to explain.

I think I know what I'm going to do now. Thank ye for helping.

You're very welcome. I'm glad that you can make a confident decision.
May I ask what you'll do?
no subject
Scotland will always be a part of me, but...I'm not ready to leave the Doctor again. Not if I can help it.
no subject
I'm sure you won't regret it, Mister Jamie.
no subject
So, I think you're right, Fuu. Whatever happens, I'll not regret the chance to travel with him again. I'll miss ye being around, though.
no subject
[She says it automatically in reply, then saddens slightly when she realizes that she might not remember him to miss him.
Forcing a smile back on her face, she bows a bit.]
Thank you again for everything. Please take care travelling with the Doctor. [A conspiratorial whisper-] He seems like the type to get into trouble a lot.
no subject
Thank ye as well, Fuu. It'll not be the same without ye here. [He means it. She's become a friend to him, and he hugs her, just like he would any of his female friends. However, she can still easily break free if she wants.]
;; why is saying good-bye even just in game so hard...
Raising her arms, she gives him a quick, light hug in return. After a moment she steps back with the best smile she can muster on her face.]
Farewell, Mister Jamie.
I didn't realize it'd be this hard. ;_;
[He starts to leave, but then turns back to wave at her one last time before walking off.]
*holds!* There is always next season! o/
And after a long moment she takes a deep breath and continues on her own way.]
