[In the park is what must be another piece of someone's home - at least, to Jamie's thinking. He's managed to stumble across what appears to be part of some strange room. A large, hexagonal console sits in the middle of a small clearing, partially hidden by some trees. There's a white wall behind it, covered in roundels, and a coat rack standing off to one side, although it appears to be rather coat free at the moment.

The console itself has a lot of wee knobs and switches and some sort of panels on it - at least, from what he can see - and a cylindrical column in the center of the thing looks almost as if it could move up and down if it wanted. He stares at it for a moment before flipping on the CAT.]

Hey, I think I found one of those bits from someone's world. Does anyone know whose it is?

[Something about that console draws him closer, however, and he winds up walking over and reaching out a curious finger to poke at one of those switches. He mutters to himself, not realizing the CAT is picking that up too.]

And why does it look so familiar?
bit_impossible: (Doctor-Slightly suggestive look)

[Action now, oh yes!]

Sub-conscious. Meaning you aren't actively thinking of something, but your brain is. Sort of like reading and listening to music at the same time. You might be concentrating on the words on the page, but your brain is listening and processing the words in the music.

[don't mind him if he starts stroking bits of his old TARDIS console when he gets there. he's missed it.]

Memory...is a tricky thing, Jamie. Sometimes, all it takes is for something simple like a particular smell, or a song to trigger something in the mind.

And other times, all it takes is for the central console of a certain time-travelling ship to appear in a park. [smiles]
bit_impossible: (Doctor-Not going there)

[he immediately stops, folding his hands behind his back] Nothing. No reason. I was looking for an on-switch. But what do socks have to do with my old central console?
bit_impossible: (Doctor-Is momentarily distracted)

[sees that look out of the corner of his eye] Fair point. I was just checking to see if anything was loose. Can't have a dial or button falling off, now can we?

[okay, that gets his attention] Did she? [slight pause] What else do you remember...? Does the name "Zoe" ring any bells? Or "Polly" or "Ben"?

[he smiles a bit crookedly, remembering them, then claps Jamie on the shoulder] Well, between that and Victoria, I'd say you're well on the way to remembering! [his grin grows as he says that] Blimey, all these years and I never even... [he just starts shaking his head]
bit_impossible: (Doctor-That's good right?)

[personal profile] bit_impossible 2011-10-17 07:33 pm (UTC)(link)
Never thought I'd meet you again and see you regain your memories like this. I alway thought the Time Lords did a well and proper job of removing them for good. [they were always far better with memory modification then he ever was] But here you are, proving both them and me completely and utterly wrong.
bit_impossible: (Doctor-Hugs are good!)

[personal profile] bit_impossible 2011-10-21 03:49 pm (UTC)(link)
Ohhh, you sure did! [gives him a sudden, quick hug before pulling away.] Not everyone can say that.

[his expression sobers somewhat] Well...that's the thing. There's nothing. The TARDIS that's there is merely the outer shell. Everything else is gone, including the present version of this room. Well, sans trees and grass.]
bit_impossible: (Doctor-Yeah that's not good)

[continues to frown, his brow furrowing] I don't know. Somehow, she was brought here in pieces, and from different times. Well, when I say pieces, I only mean 'two'. I haven't found any other parts of her until now.
bit_impossible: (Doctor-Eye rub)

[personal profile] bit_impossible 2011-11-04 04:17 pm (UTC)(link)
[raises an eyebrow, then starts to rub his eyes] Yeah, let's not think about that possibility, hmm? [never mind he already has in his head...] I'd like to think the old girl is being kept together. She's not one to break apart so easily.
bit_impossible: (Doctor-Do tell)

[he chooses not to count that incident]

Could be wherever they're keeping Lab #3 for all I know. [lets out a sigh] Her dimensionally transcendental properties should still be able to work.
bit_impossible: (Doctor-Skeptical)

[personal profile] bit_impossible 2011-11-15 04:22 am (UTC)(link)
[gives him a slight look. it's a bit of a sore point] Yes, thank you Jamie, you don't need to remind me.

Well, I haven't see much else around here aside from other things that just don't belong here, but I won't say no to you keeping your eyes open and searching for something of the TARDIS'.
bit_impossible: (Doctor-But...why?)

[personal profile] bit_impossible 2011-11-17 11:44 pm (UTC)(link)
[he frowns] We can, but...I'd feel it if that were true.
bit_impossible: (Doctor-*Grin*)

[personal profile] bit_impossible 2011-11-19 05:46 am (UTC)(link)
[okay, that frown of his? immediately begins turning back around into a grin]

Oh yes! I'd love it! Allons-y! [dashes off in a brisk walk back towards the town square. it briefly occurs to him that Jamie might not know what he said--but knows he's a smart lad and that he'll follow after]
