[When the CAT turns on, Fuu doesn't even notice because she's playing a crane game with an intense look of concentration upon her face. Nearly buried amid the adorable stuffed figures that fill the machine is a brown schoolbag, which Fuu is clearly aiming for.]

[The claw snags one of the handles of the bag, the crane moves up, and Fuu gives a small cry of happiness as her bag is deposited in the chute.]

At last. Thought I'd never get it. --Oh, and another one of these?

[Taking up her bag and the two coins she looks left and right. She then moves over to another game, this one with a pincushion nestled among the toys. Fuu tilts her head thoughtfully.]

It was Miss Sophie who lost the pincushion, right...

[Figuring that she wouldn't know how to play the game to get her item back, Fuu tries to start the game with her CAT so that she can retrieve the pincushion for her. But it won't work.]

What--?

[Moving down the line she tries a couple other machines. None work.]

Oh, I see. That's just mean.

Well, everyone, it seems that my CAT is on, so you just saw it. Apparently we must each come enjoy this arcade that the Mayor told us about.

[Grins and shrugs] The same thing my school bag was doing in there, and Xion's coat, and ...all sorts of other stuff. It must be the items that were taken with the "your possession is in good hands" note left behind.

Well, to be fair, I only did remake that one a few years ago. It was only made of advanced technology which doesn't always mean future, even though it does to most people.

Well, it seems like games are the... challenge this week. I had to answer a question just to get in here, and now this [gestures to the crane games].

And like you say, anyone can find them, but only the owner of the item can get to it. Why bother doing it this way? [Shakes her head.] Our things might be safe, but I hardly call it being in 'good hands'.

Don't worry, it's a common misconception. Many people make it.

And don't apologise either. I haven't played one of those games since the last time I was in Japan. I'm looking forward to it! But I've got to ask, Fuu...how many times did you have to play that game to retrieve your belongings?

And we have to play two of these games to get to them--one to enter the building, and then that game to get it back... [frowns. she doesn't like the sound of that, especially after what Mr Braxiatel pointed out about the penalty for losing]
