[Something Willis does not enjoy: Snow storms. No, really. They are cold and wet and only okay during more festive times.

Something Willis does enjoy? Snow stopping in time to make it to the observation deck. He's almost in a good mood when he finally steps inside.

... And then he sees the message. He shifts uncomfortably, fighting back a wave of paranoia as the message sinks in. Did someone in this room somehow doom everyone to staying in this city? Did he do something without realizing it? Or does it just mean nothing at all, and someone will pop out with streamers and happy news and --

And maybe he's over thinking it. That's what he'd prefer, anyway. He straightens up his posture, casually folding his hands behind his head in an attempt to act indifferent.]

It just never stops, huh.

Probably not. [He shakes his head.] It's really weird too. I mean, what's the point in asking someone, 'what have you done?' It sounds like a threat, not a way to get people to confess the truth.

[summerdoor]

Yeah, definitely. It's not like there's anything to confess. [Except the next words are out of his mouth before he even realizes what he's saying -] I sort of broke technology all over the world once, made my best friends do my chores for me, and - alright, maybe I never fixed that whole technology-breaking thing.

[There's a pause before he rubs his forehead, frustrated. He definitely did not plan that.]

But none of that has anything to do with this, so don't worry about it.

[Again with the confessions? Kon's not sure quite what that means...]

Okay.

... Do you still want to talk about it? I don't know about you, but I'm almost as bad when it comes to technology. [Not really. He's trying to reassure the kid.] I mean, I once broke my grandmother's tractor just by turning it on.

[Quickly:] No. No, I don't.

[He shivers, rubbing his arms to keep warm but not thinking anything of it.]

It happened years ago, anyway. [A pause.] How do you break something just by turning it on?

[Kon raises an eyebrow, but he's okay with keeping the conversation focused on himself if it makes Willis feel better.]

Just because it happened years ago doesn't mean it's not a big deal. [He laughs softly, just thinking about the tractor.] If you've got super-strength? It's pretty easy if you're not careful.

[summerdoor]

It really isn't a big deal.

[His tone is harsher now, and he shivers again, rocking back and forth on his heels in an attempt to keep moving to stay warm.]

... You have super-strength?

The more you say that, the more I think it is.

[He shrugs.] Yeah. I was born with it.
