❧ Just Breathe
[For days, the zombie invasion of the Luministi town and spacestation has gone on, but through various means, there have been less and less zombies appearing by the day. And now, only a few remain, stubbornly shambling after their prey--
--or rather they were. With a bright, blinding flash of light, their bodies instantly change. No longer are they dead and decaying, but are that of full-fledged living beings with absolutely no desire for brains or flesh of the living. In fact, while they take a moment to blink and look around to see where they are, these townspeople merely shrug and continue on with their business like they did months ago. For them, it's back to their normal routine, and if asked, they won't even remember being a zombie. No one does. Even those who were killed during the fighting are back, right as rain.
But something else has changed.
Something big, yet the sound was so soft and heard by none. A door has been opened...
And from the surprise left in the town square, it seems other metaphorical doors have been opened as well, a fact that the sender of a text message to all of the CATs, is very well aware of:]
Enjoy this respite from chaos while you can.
[The moment that text is sent, anyone still injured will be blinded once again--but will find all wounds have been healed.]

Plot Details: Just Breathe
- Welcome to Luministi's Fourth Wall event! If you have never participated in 4th wall with us before, the portion above the cut there is an IC continuation of the story that has been in the making for the past two seasons (a summary of which can be read here if you are curious, but it's not required reading!) Unlike past events, the town is not only fully populated with people who will just talk about mundane things about Luministi, but the pathway to the spacestation via the Mayor's House has been opened. How long that will remain open is anyone's guess, but for now, take advantage of it!
Also, visitors have a choice of physically appearing in the town square or communicating from their own world via the CAT.
Now, for those of you new to the game, the CATs, or Communications Audiovisual Transmitters, are personalized communication devices about the size of your palm, and for this day only, visiting characters will have this device. They'll have found it randomly on their person with no idea how it even got there. From a video broadcast standpoint, you'll be able to see the the immediate surroundings of the person you're talking to. More information about the CATs can be found on the FAQ page, which also has some handy tips about how the game is run and other questions about the game that aren't answered elsewhere in the mod journal. But if you don't see your question answered anywhere, please don't be afraid to ask!
In-game time, this event lasts a day, but you can tag for however long you want!
If visiting players do app into the game they will be able to remember visiting the town (or viewing it in a video feed), as well as everyone they met, the moment they show up in the town of Luministi for real. Yeah for ready-made CR, right?
And for current players, consider this a plot break! I'll have the game's next proper plot update for you guys tomorrow, so enjoy the breather while you can!
This event is the last one the game will hold, unfortunately, as Luminsti is in its final season. All of the storylines and mysteries introduced back in June 2010 when the game first opened will be brought to a close, and how it all does will be up to everyone involved. There are choices to be made and tasks that need to be accomplished--but only if you do it. Not doing something also will result in something, but whether it's for better or worse, well... You'll just have to come along for the ride and see, won't you?

Now, let the fourth-walling commence! Have lots of fun~
Re: [action]
[So cute. Fuu smiles at the mysterious dog - she can't say she understands animals as well as Hikaru, but it seems that it's hungry.
Cutting her strawberry shortcake in half she places it on a napkin and lays it on the ground.]
There you go!
[action]
She wags her tail, going to nose Fuu's hand, and then goes for the strawberry shortcake, which vanishes very soon afterwards. There's a bit left on her muzzle when she looks up, tail thumping against the ground.]
Re: [action]
[She tentatively reaches out to pat the dog on the head, then giggles.]
You have a bit, right there- [She makes a motion to her own nose, and then sighs a little.]
Ah, I suppose you might not be able to understand me, really.
Or then... would you? The CAT translates all sorts of languages. Even when Miss Sophie was a cat I could talk to her. But then, she is actually human... How does that work?
[She tilts her head questioningly at the dog. How does that work?]
no subject
It slows down again after a moment or two, and she blinks at Fuu, ears flicking, and whines. She doesn't understand this bit at all. Kabegami's helpful, but Ammy doesn't think Kabegami knows that much about getting people to understand each other. And… what's this about someone being a cat but actually human? She leans forward a little, eyes on Fuu's, hoping she'll explain.]
no subject
And seems interested in cats?]
I suppose it would make sense if you're alert to the mention of cats. Don't worry though, Miss Sophie is really a human. Just she was under a magical spell when she was back in her world.
Ah, yes. Sorry to say, you're far from home at the moment. Mmm. I don't suppose you can give me a 'pu-pupu-puuu~' the way Mokona did. Can you bark twice if you understand?
[Because really, if the dog is here perhaps it's quite clever. But she wouldn't want to keep talking to the poor thing if it doesn't understand.]
no subject
She tilts her head to the side, with a soft whuff. Like the Oina? Only- no, that sounds as though someone else did it…
She actually tries to make the 'pu-pupu-puu' sound, but it doesn't count out right, and after a few moments she snorts and shakes herself, huffing at nothing in particular before barking twice.]
no subject
She's a bit worried that she'd offended the dog by asking such a thing, but she gives an excited clap when it barks twice.]
Wow, this is great! Ahh, communicating like this is a fantastic trick for TV, but it's a bit harder in real life, ne? I want to ask you all sorts of things, like your name or where you're from! And answer your questions, because I'm sure you have lots. But, we will do the best with what we have!
Mmm. I don't suppose you have another way to communicate besides barking?
no subject
She makes a soft sound, tilting her head for one moment. This is usually what Envoys are for, even if they're just guessing a good amount of the time. But she hasn't seen Issun or even Ishaku around, so that's probably not going to work too well. Her ears flick back and forwards for a few moments, and her tail wags for a moment. Fuu might get the impression of a loop being drawn in front of them with a quick brushstroke, a breeze spring up when it's done. Amaterasu grins up at Fuu, tail wagging. How's that?]
[[I'm not totally at ease with words with Ammy- I can try, if you like, though?]]
no subject
[Lucky for her, Fuu is sensitive to wind! She puts her hand out between them where she had felt the breeze come from, tracing the impression of a circle she'd felt.]
You're really amazing! That was wind magic, wasn't it. I can use wind magic too... Except I'm afraid I can't demonstrate. [She leans close to whisper,] If I use it when I don't need it, it will rebound back in a bad way.
You must be from an amazing world. I hope that you can return there soon, because being here is dangerous.
But, if you are stuck here, at least you have magic to help you out!
no subject
[Ammy preens for a moment- it's not entirely correct, but it's close enough! She makes a curious sound, and leans in a little closer, bringing one paw up to rest on Fuu's knee, looking proud. Clearly Fuu has a good heart.
If she could tell Fuu about what her Nippon, she would. The stories of everyone who's helped her should be told. She sits up a little straighter, ears twitching forward, tail going still. What's the story of this place, then?]
no subject
Well, if you do end up staying here, you'd best know what is going on.
[And she will concisely tell the story of Luministi- her first arrival, the eventual discovery of how it was being used as huge medical experiment in bringing people back to life, how they'd been caught up a second time and how Resarci's son had made it into the profit-mongering reality show, and now this third time, and the mystery of who was truly behind it all. (Not quite in full detail, but enough that she can elaborate on any part she seems curious about.)]
no subject
She pays more attention after that, ears twitching back and forth, and just tilts her head to one side when Fuu gets to the part where it's revealed that it's been a reality show. She doesn't get that at all.]
(just for fun~)
It's okay if you didn't get everything, so long as you understand that we are here against our will for the profit of someone else. And we have every intention of getting away.
(/o/ hee, yes!)
no subject
You can take care of yourself, I'm sure, but should you need a place to come in at night, come to the Luministi Greens East, A3. I'd be happy to have you over.
no subject
She looks up at Fuu again, tail wagging, and whuffs. She'll definitely be sure to do that!]
