[The CAT clicks on--for a moment, there is the sound of rustling, and then a distinct click of something being set down.]
So this thing is used to broadcast to other people? ...huh. Could be useful.
[The voice is young, but when Riku addresses the CAT properly, there's no shortage of self-assuredness there.]
So this place is called Luministi, right? What sort of a place is it? And why am I here, anyways? If this is Maleficent's idea of a joke...
Anybody out there?
...Better yet, has anybody out there heard of a girl named Kairi? I've been looking for her.

[video --> commentlog?]
But, he reminds himself, if this town is as strange as the other guy had said, then there's a lot more to it than he'll be able to find on his own right away.]
All right, I'll meet you there.
[And that's all there is to that! Riku's not put off in the least by having turned up on a new world, so he doesn't waste any time staring at what he sees on the way there. In fact, with the map on the CAT, it's downright -easy- for him to find and stride right on up to the tea house!]
[Action! +commentlog :3]
At the sound of the door opening she glances up with a welcoming smile.]
Hello! A pleasure to meet you in person. What kind of tea do you like? Oh- or perhaps you like coffee better?
[commentlog]
He joins Fuu at the counter, shrugging widely. Walking through town has done a lot more to put him at ease than the CATs have.]
It doesn't matter to me. You can choose.
[A pause.]
Just not lavender.

...Chamomile, then. [She places the order, and once she is given the teapot she leads the way back to the table.]
Nice and relaxing. So, before I get into everything, did you have any questions in particular, mister--! Oh!
[With a start she gives him a deep bow.] I apologize. I'm afraid I don't know your name yet.
no subject
That's all right. I'm Riku.
I do have one question, though. [How to phrase it...?] Before I came over here, I was talking to a boy. He's got brown hair, really spiky, blue eyes...
[He trails off. Normally he might have described Sora as some sort of goofy blockhead, but if Xion -had- been telling the truth, then maybe that wasn't the case here...]
You know him?
no subject
Xion? Yes, I do. Is he from your world?
no subject
[Riku takes a seat as well, looking away from Fuu and out the front window. It's pretty obvious from the slight scowl and his folded arms that it's not exactly a happy subject. After a moment, his attention will switch back to Fuu.]
Well, kind of. What do you know about him?
no subject
[She smiled as she gave the vague answer. She didn't know Xion very well, but she knew Mister Riku even less. Best to be a little cautious, for her friend's sake.]
But perhaps I should tell you about our situation in the town first?
no subject
Look, anything you could tell me about him would be helpful.
He looks exactly like somebody I knew on my world. And there can't be two Soras out there.
[One is already more than enough.]
no subject
...Riku is not wearing the black coat, but still. She doesn't understand what the uniform means, anyways.]
I honestly don't know anything about a Sora. I only know Xion.
no subject
If Fuu doesn't even know Sora's name (and Riku thinks he believes her; she doesn't seem like the type to be good at lying), then maybe... Riku sits back in his chair, nodding. He'll accept that answer for now.]
Okay. I guess that means he was telling the truth, then.
...He also said he was from my future.
[He leaves the question unspoken--is that possible? How could somebody be here from his future?]
no subject
There are indeed people from completely different worlds and times here.
