[Willis has spent his first few hours in Luministi being confused. And whining a lot. And then assuming this was all a dream, taking a nap, waking up, and whining some more. Eventually he decided that if he was going to be stuck here... he might as well explore.
So he spent the next hour riding around town on his bicycle in an attempt to figure out the layout of the town. Which is kindasorta empty. Which is only making him even more confused.
Yeah, guess who has absolutely no clue about the murder yet.
He stops his bike near the library and leans forward, resting his head on the handlebars.]
Agh. Jeez, so much for finding something interesting.

Is... that a problem?

Willis. What's your name?

So Willis! New in town and all. And from your puzzled expression earlier, you're really new. So new in fact, I'd be more than willing to bet you haven't been told much about what's really going on here. Am I right?

Uh, I know that this city isn't as advertised?

Well, that's a given! No town is ever going to come out and say, "Hello! We've kidnapped you from your natural place in time and space and plunked you down here where we expect you to live in peace in these boring yet extravagant homes--except we're also going to throw you into situations where we're going to test your endurance and tolerance for all things strange and weird!" now are they?
