[Stephanie's running through the streets, feet pounding desperately against the asphalt when she stumbles to a stop, looking around wildly]

What - what? Where...

[she's breathless, but her eyes flash with anger]

No. No, I was right there. I had...[she looks down, then, raising an empty hand, cursing at it] What the hell happened?

[that's when she hears the she sees the bike, our of the corner at her eye, coming at a downright frantic pace; in an instant, a handspring carries her out of the way, onto the sidewalk]

[startled] Are you all right!?

[jerks, a bit, before turning to face her and nodding] Yeah, sure, no problemo. [pauses, before looking down at her hands] Well, I have a few scrapes, but that's nothing.

((Also, the car is now a bike!))

[is just running over to her] My, that was amazing! You're very lucky you weren't hit.

[she stiffens, just slightly, on instinct] Um - thanks. I was, yeah. [shakes her head] Usually I pay more attention than that, but...

[frowns. concerned] Are you feeling all right?

Sure. I was just...somewhere else, a minute ago.

Oh, so you've just arrived as well! My, there are a lot of us.

A lot of us...getting abducted?

[frowns] I'm afraid it's a bit more complicated than that. As I understand it, a lot of us have recently lost some of our memories. But I imagine we were all abducted, at one time...

It seems that we received a hint that compelled me to write a journal. Therefore, I have a chronicle of meeting you and ...other previous events, but I don't remember them at all.

[after a moment, she shrugs, and bows] Hey, I'm not complaining.
