[That being said, a rare event can be glimpsed in Luministi today: Mu has left his house. Gasp. To the post office, of course, to pick up his packages, but he can be found here and there, picking up sundries (and maybe some sweets for all the kids that are in and out of his place all the time), stopping for a coffee and indulging in a bit of window shopping here and there.

[During a lull in activity at the Talon, Kon wanders over to Mu's table with two orders of coffee - Mu's usual, and Kon's favorite blend. He grins, flopping down in the nearest seat.]

Hey! How're your orders coming along so far?

[Mu blinks in mild surprise when Kon joins him, but smiles softly.]

The last few weeks have been slower - there's only so much demand for blown glass, I suppose. I think these...[He gestures to the boxes at his feet.] should drum up some interest.

I see this place is lively as ever.

I think they will too. [Almost immediately, he looks down at the boxes. Thanks to his x-ray vision, he can tell they're pretty jewels... like the kind Leaf likes so much.]

Heh, thanks. A lot of it's because they don't really have anywhere else to go, but... I've been meaning to ask you about your stuff, actually. Can you make charm bracelets?

Better that they come here than cause trouble.

A charm bracelet, hm? Its been some time, but i certainly can. A gift?

Yeah, I wanna give something to this girl... [He rubs the back of his neck. More quietly, so the other kids can't overhear:] she's big into animals, but I think she'd probably like jewelry too.

Is that so? Shall I make some charms to go with?

If you could. If not, then something simple'd be fine. She's not the kind of girl who's interested in something showy.

I'll see what's on hand. I have more than enough silver for a bracelet, certainly. Is there a particular colour she's fond of? If I can't make a charm, perhaps some beads to get her started.

Green's her favorite color. You still have anything that color on hand?

Offhand, I'm not sure. I will check when I get home, and send you a message accordingly.

[He takes a sip of his drink.] You're still gonna have your usual booth for the Festival, right?

I will, and I've managed to secure some help in maintaining it this year. I rather dislike the crowds, so this should make things easier for me.

I remember. [Kon's memory isn't the best, but he's at least observant enough to recall that much.] Is it someone I know? If so, I should probably bring extra food for them.

I'm sure Kanaya would appreciate you bringing her something.

Oh, Kan's helping out? [He grins.] I'll definitely bring double the food.

Double hm? That might be enough.

If not, I'm running the booth for Mom this year. I mean, she'll help out, but she prolly deserves a break.

Oh certainly. I'm sure any help would be much appreciated.

I hope so. I know what I'm doing, but I've never run the booth for that long before.
