The first thing that Terezi thought of was that it the individual it happened to be someone who was definitely not on the same side they were. Her heartbeat picked up and soared as her hands fumbled in the darkness. The ring in her ears at its current volume was enough to shake her senses and give her pain. Her hands shakily picked up the cane after she dropped once more when she actually found it. For a moment she considered facing off against whatever it was, but she didn’t exactly want to face against such an opponent by herself.
She needed to meet up with Dave first. That’s right, he was her goal. The other individual would just have to wait. She needed to meet up with him--by now she feels like she really can't wait. It’s why she’s managed to finally move again at a brisk pace, even if her head pounded. She replied, her voice louder since the mysterious man’s shenanigans, “I’m not sure who this is, but I’m already sick of this bullshit. I mean, really, would it kill someone to put at least one light here? It might prevent a few unfortunate wall collisions!"
She sighed and then said, "You should be able to hear this over them, Dave!”
Terezi practically banged her cane on the wall here and there loud enough for anyone 200 feet away to hear it. Although the combined noises were making her feel sick; it was a necessary evil against an unknown enemy. It could even just be a psyche-out, but she didn’t exactly want to find out by herself if it wasn’t.
