You and your friends here are automatically anchored here thanks to the technology used to bring you here in the first place. The man who brought you here, named Ferran, and myself...we're from the same universe, but it isn't this one. So we need to find an anchor here to keep us here. The state of one's anchor affects how well we can interact in this universe, and if one doesn't have one or the anchor is injured or destroyed, it takes a lot of personal energy just to stay here for long.
