But the mayor was betrayed by Doctor Resarci, who worked in the clinic in town. And then he was shot, and his son took over and endeavoured to turn the town into a sort of...entertainment. Like a play. They called it, ah... [she pauses, trying to remember] Tele-vision. And we were brought here again! Though I'm not certain why he brought so many of us who had been here before. We all knew that the people in town were quite fake--golems, I believe, or something like them. And we escaped again, of course. A man named Nathan helped us. And some people stayed here to work with him to catch Resarci, but the last I heard, they hadn't been able to.

And now... [she sighs] I must say, I've no idea what we're here for again, though I suspect it must be Filippo Resarci's doing in some way.
