[gently touches her temples, closing his own eyes while he makes mental contact with her.

he certainly doesn't show her everything. 900+ years worth of memories would overload her poor mind! plus many of them are so not the sort of thing he wants to share; not all of those horrors.

but what he does share... the inside of his TARDIS, the controls blinking and blurring as he runs around it; colourful, bright sunsets/sunrises with different planets and moons in the sky; glittering diamond beaches--literally diamonds--and brilliant blue skies; beautiful gardens and forests, the flowers and trees in different vivacious colours; his meetings with famous people from all throughout Earth's history, like Queen Victoria, Darwin, Dickens, Shakespeare, Marlowe (and that's only a sampling of the people he's met), and countless others on different planets across the universe; marketplaces in several places and times, showing all sorts of alien species, not just humans, with fun gadgets and trinkets covering the tables as well as strange foods that he proceeds to share with various friends he was travelling with at the time. when their faces are shown, Xion might feel a strong sense of warmth and love, feelings that he often has trouble expressing because to him, love is different than what humans see it as. throughout all those memories, a sense of joy and contentment is always there.

and lastly, and this one is involuntary and he doesn't realise he's sharing it, but since they were talking about being away from home... there's a glimpse tall mountains set against a burnt orange sky and red grass blowing in the wind. trees with silver leaves shine and glimmer, looking as though they're ablaze. but it's only a glimpse before he stops and breaks the mental connection, his hands slowly falling away as his eyes open]
